Hillside Cottage: A Peaceful Retreat

The pictures here do not do it’s justice. " -Van This luxurious and comfortable private guest cottage was designed with Airbnb guests in mind! Approximately 500 + Sq ft., the cottage features a bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, sitting/dining/kitchen area, and a screened in front porch. The porch is the perfect spot to sip coffee and enjoy the beautiful view of the pond and back yard that make this listing so unique. There is a comfortable pillow-top queen size bed, and a barn door separates the bedroom from the living space. The bathroom has basic toiletries available as well as linens, a hair dryer, etc. The laundry room is accessible through the bathroom and has all of the basic supplies that a guest could need (washer, dryer, detergent, ironing board, iron, etc.). A smart tv is located in the living area. It is a ROKU TV so that guests can use their own login details for their favorite streaming service (Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Netflix, Hulu). Don't forget to Logout at checkout (: The kitchen is equipped with the basic tools needed for cooking delicious meals or eating on the go: stainless steel cookware, enough place settings and utensils for 4 guests, as well as basic pantry items such as sugar, salt, pepper, and olive oil. We are excited to support other local businesses and offer a complimentary selection of Leaf Logic tea as well as coffee from Cocoa Dulce to enjoy during the first day of your stay with us. Note on Parking: There is a short walk from the parking area to the cottage via a gravel path (see photos). We have provided an all-weather luggage cart for your bags that is stored by the parking space. You are welcome to enjoy a stroll around the pond or take off on the miles of dirt roads that are waiting just out the driveway. Other things to note -We have provided a guidebook/house manual for all guests that they will receive upon booking. -As we are out in the country and have a pond in the backyard, we do battle mosquitoes during the warmer months. We do hope that the screen porch will provide the perfect barrier, but if you hope to enjoy more of the great outdoors, we do recommend packing your favorite bug spray. - We have two large, friendly Bouviers, who love to greet guests. Beatrix and Mudbud are on an electric fence, and while their perimeter does not extend to the cottage, path, or the parking lot, they may bark their greeting, so please do not be alarmed.
