Have it your way! This amazing room rental is self contained and perfect for anyone wanting complete privacy or for those looking for a home share situation. The space Mi casa es su casa! My home is situated in an established neighborhood in north central Austin. The house is charming and colorfully decorated with folk art, hardwood floors and Mexican tiles throughout. Your room is beautiful and peaceful and with the layout of the house it offers complete privacy. The rental is located at the far end of the house. Every window has pull down blinds and all doors can be locked for your complete private oasis. You can come and go through your own keyless coded door without having to walk through the main house and the doors to your room can be locked from the rest of the house. This 500 square foot space is completely self-contained. There is a small private bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet. The bedroom has 1 queen size bed with memory foam topper and a futon couch that folds down to a full size bed for a 3rd person. There is a TV, stereo with ipod connection, indoor speakers, Keurig coffee maker, filtered water, ceiling fan, armoire, ironing board/iron and internet access in your room. All towels, linens, pillows, pool towels, blow dryer, soap and shampoo are also provided. Your door leads to a backyard paradise including a huge back patio with a fire pit, mature trees, hot tub jacuzzi and a lap pool for your enjoyment. Breakfast is not included but I do provide coffee and tea which is available in your room. Our home is open, comfortable, clean and smoke free. The home is very uniquely decorated with color and art from Latin America. Guests are given complete privacy! I sometimes rent another guest room. The patio, pool and hot tub are shared space. Quiet hours are strictly enforced between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am Please check to be sure my location is right for you. I am not downtown. Downtown Austin, UT, Zilker Park, Austin Convention Center, Barton Springs and Austin's entertainment district are all approximately 5 miles away and can be reached by car or public transit. There is a bus stop within walking distance (.5 mile). There are plenty of restaurants, parks and grocery stores near the property.I do recommend renting a car or using Cars 2 Go. Public transportation is not the best if you really want to see and experience Austin and all of the great things it has to offer. We are a licensed short term rental with the city of Austin. The City of Austin has a no outdoor noise code that is strictly enforced between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. In order to preserve the relationship I have with my neighbors and keep with in Austin City code, I ask that if you are planning a party weekend, my home is not the right place for you. Outdoor noise after 10:00 PM will not be tolerated and is cause for removal from the property. Otherwise, we would love to have you in our home! Guest access Guest access includes your rental room which is private and a private bathroom. The shared spaces include the backyard and all patios, swimming pool and hot tub. During your stay I interact with guests as much or as little as they like. I am out of town quite often. There are guests that stay that I never even meet because they prefer complete privacy and then there are guests that I end up keeping in touch with because a friendship comes out of their visit. I respect either preference! Other things to note We recently added a security camera to the front and back of the house, outside only!
