Easily accessible to public transit. You'll love our quiet residential neighborhood and mod kitchen. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families/kids. The space Located in a quiet neighborhood, our three story town house ( first and 2nd floors open to guests) is three short blocks from both bus and subway transit on Philadelphia’s major north/south thoroughfare, Broad Street.   When you book with us, you will have access to 3 bedrooms, (2 double beds, one single, (and a fold up cot upon request, with advanced notice), 1.5 baths, eat-in kitchen, seating four, (with full access to all appliances, cookware, etc), and a dining room that will accommodate six. There is WiFi internet access, and a 42” TV in the living room. (See note in kitchen for WiFi access info.) We have easy subway and bus access to the Convention Center and the Sports Complex. We are also surrounded by excellent. authentic, locally owned restaurants in the immediate area and, of course, in downtown Philadelphia. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Air Conditioning: The house is air conditioned throughout. Sharing: You will not be sharing this house. When you book with us at Meiravi House, you and your party will have access to two floors: 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room, and private back yard. Pets: Although we’d love to, we cannot accommodate guests with pets because of some guests’ allergy restrictions, or, as a rule, guests requesting to stay over 10 days. Children: We welcome families with children, but families with toddlers may want to reconsider. Because of our nine feet high ceilings, we have one flight of 14 steep stairs to the bedroom areas accessible to a toddler! Also an equally steep set of steps to the basement. For this reason we keep the door to the basement washer and dryer locked. (Please make special arrangements with us if you wish access). If used, we ask that you keep the basement door securely closed/locked at all times. — Please plan to supervise toddlers. Because of the architecture of the house, we have no toddler proof gates currently in place. Our third floor stairwell, leading to our work-in-progress “penthouse suite”, is blocked off for your safety). Some "HOUSE RULES"- -Please TURN OUT LIGHTS and CLOSE ALL OPEN WINDOWS when leaving the house, especially if it is due to rain. -BE SURE to LOCK both UPPER AND LOWER FRONT DOOR LOCKS WHENEVER LEAVING THE HOUSE, especially on FINAL DEPARTURE. -BE SURE BACK DOOR IS DOUBLE LOCKED AS WELL WHEN NOT IN USE AND BEFORE FINAL DEPARTURE. (In 90 years, we have never had any problems in this regard, and would like to keep it that way)! -BE SURE COFFE MAKER AND ANY HOUSE FANS IF USED ARE TURNED OFF BEFORE LEAVING THE HOUSE. -IT IS HELPFUL TO PLACE ALL USED TOWELS IN THE LARGE PLASTIC BAG AT TOP OF THE STAIRS ACROSS FROM BATHROOM BEFORE LEAVING. CHECK IN TIME: 12 NOON; CHECK OUT TIME: 12 NOON--unless otherwise arranged. (Appreciative if you let us know if you leave earlier than noon. Thanks!) Guest access Eating In:  *The adjacent dining room seats six. Our eat-in kitchen, seating four, is fully equipped with: microwave, dishwasher, four burner gas stove, large oven, large fridge & freezer, coffee maker, toaster, & stainless steel sink with garbage disposal.  *The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and everything you'll need to prepare a delicious meal. You'll also find pancake mix, breakfast quickie meals, coffee, tea, cream, sugar, paper towels, napkins, dish towel, cleaning cloths and products, dish detergent, and a new sponge. An iron and ironing board are also at your disposal in the dining room utility/coat closet. * The bathroom on the second floor has a full tub and shower, is supplied with towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and new liquid soap, bar soap, toothpaste, mouth wash for every new guest There is also a powder room located on the first floor. Other things to note PARKING LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS: Parking on Reed Street between 13th and 12th Sts, ON THE PARK side of the street ONLY, is UNLIMITED ON WEEKDAYS-So no permit needed, if you are lucky enough to find a spot!) **N.B. Daily permits must be dated and displayed clearly on the dashboard. •On TRASH DAY, Wednesday, NO PARKING on our side of 13th St.  •To get around town, we suggest using handy public transit (bus, subway), or CHECK IN/CHECK OUT time is 12 noon, unless other arrangements are made. If you leave earlier than 12 noon, we appreciate your letting us know. •TAXI SERVICE. (On line taxi service, LYFT or Uber is available. For other taxi service, most popular around town are: 215 Get-A-Cab. See our personal guidebook for more. •There is also INDEGO—Philly’s Bike Share, sponsored by Independence Blue Cross, an online bike rental service with bike stations around the city. The closest to us is at 10th and Tasker. ( See Guidebook), or CALL OR TEXT 844-4-INDEGO. •Biking along the East or West River Drive, along the Schuykill River, near the Philadelphia Art Museum is a really pleasant excursion. (An Indego Bike Station is handily located at the foot of the Art Museum near the ‘Rocky’ statue!) There is a Municipal Parking lot, one block east, at 12th St., above Reed Street, near the police and fire stations. There is also a Philadelphia Parking Authority Parking Garage, located ten blocks southeast of us, located at 2415 S. Swanson St.
