Villa dolce vita is a totally private, elegant stone house situated on a private road immersed in the green Umbrian hills. The pool can be heated for maximum comfort in spring and autumn. The house is made in stone and shows the main characteristics of Umbrian rural architecture. Immersed in a breathtaking green landscape, Villa dolce vita offers an unforgettable vacation of relaxation and tranquility. The space All the interior furnishings at Villa Dolce Vita are antique, with top quality bed linens and towels, a fully equiped kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining options. All the finishings are of the highest quality, such as the 'cotto' pavements and wooden ceiling beams. The house is on two levels. The main entrance is on the ground floor, composed by a living room, dining room and kitchen. All the rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the garden via French doors. From the kitchen one can access the loggia and the pergola, each of them well equipped with tables and chairs for pleasant outdoor dining. The first floor is reached via an internal “cotto” staircase. Here, there is a double bedroom with king size bed (this room is also reachable from outside through an external staircase) with an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, a double bedroom with French-size bed with en-suite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom , a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms have window screens, and fans. The park spreads out over two acres and is home to a wide variety of plants and flowers that perfume the air. The area is mostly covered by a beautiful well kept green lawn and olive grove with 30 trees. The garden around the house is shaded by secular trees and is equipped with wooden sun lounges and tables. Near to the kitchen there is the loggia and a pergola perfect for alfresco dining, furnished with an outdoor teak dining table that comfortably seats 12. There is also an ancient pizza oven, and a barbecue. Natural steps lead to the swimming pool area with its breathtaking view over the evergreen Umbrian valley. The rectangular-shaped pool can be heated as an optional extra. The pool is located inside the park and is totally surrounded by a wooden deck, curated green lawn and covered pergola area. The position of the pool offers spectacular views over the hills. It is situated on a lower terrace level to the right of the house, about 100m from the main entrance. The pool area is spectacularly lit at nighttime, and has a chlorine purification system. It measures 6 x 12 m with a constant depth of 1.50m. Natural and cotto steps lead to the pool which is lined with blue pvc. The spacious solarium area is composed of stone and lawn and is equipped with double canopied bed, six sunbeds with cushions and a covered pergola with climbing roses. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday in October. Guest access The house and surrounding two acre park is rented in its entirety. Other things to note All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Heating is, of course, available throughout the house. Please note that if you choose to have either air conditioning or heating, these will be charged separately, at cost. The cost is 225 euros per week, for all 4 bedrooms.
