Room # 1 has a comfortable twin bed/pillows/blankets, hangers, full length mirror, darkening curtains, ceiling/box fan, over head lights, bedside chest with Lamp, extension cords. Bathroom across the hall. Towels, wash cloths, soap, tissue and shampoo in the bathroom. Kitchen available anytime but please don’t cook during normal bedtime hours. You may store food items in the refrigerator, use whatever you need. The living room has a 55” TV and comfy sofa. laundry area is in the hallway. The space I have an older ranch style house, with fully stocked kitchen, microwave, ice maker, living area and dining area. It has a large yard, back deck with table and chairs, sun umbrella, charcoal grill on deck. I provide bed linens, towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo and bath tissue. Cleaning supplies for bath/shower are under the bathroom vanity. Please clean bathtub area after yourself if you are on an extended stay. All guests that stay here expect to have a clean bathroom when they arrive. With each booking you are charge only a $5.00 cleaning fee and the space is cleaned after your departure. If you are on an extended stay you will be expected to clean the bathtub after use so that it’s ready for the next guest and they will do the same for you. If you’re unable to clean up after yourself We will be happy to charge the $5.00 cleaning fee each time it has to be cleaned. Absolutely no hair coloring, please! Please leave wet towels in the laundry baskets and I will launder them and return them to the storage baskets for you. Also, if you’ve filled the trash baskets - please tie your bag up and dispose in the blue recycling container on the right side of the house. We leave extra rolls of bags for you in the bathroom and under the kitchen sink. If you let me know of any special needs or wants I will do my best to make sure you have what you need. Guest access Guests may cook meals and use appliances in the kitchen. You may do laundry, washer and dryer are located in the hallway. The back deck has a table and chairs and a charcoal grill. Parking in driveway. (Please park to the right of the garage, not blocking the entrance/exit to garage) During your stay I am available at any time to answer question about my home, the area, local attractions... anything you might need help with. I can provide directions to shopping, restaurants, hospitals. I try to keep a check on messages and respond ASAP. I will try to give you as much privacy as possible however this is my primary residence. My home is located in Conover, North Carolina. Just off I-40, between the Rock Barn Country Club Exit 133 and the Conover Exit 132. Location is 20 minutes to Statesville heading East, 45 minutes from Charlotte, NC, 10 Minutes from Hickory, heading west, 45 minutes to Blowing Rock, 1 hour to Boone. 1 hour to Asheville. Other things to note This is my primary residence. We try very hard to keep out of the way but we do live here. I will give updates on my location during your stay.
