Spacious, vintage apartment in the heart of the city. Wonderful library, walls of art, work space, outdoor lounging, comfortable bedrooms with new comfy mattresses. From one traveler to another, you will be in a great location. Easy and direct public transportation to downtown. Walkable, hip neighborhood with some of Chicago's best restaurants, art galleries, music venues and unique shops. Please note that although we love both, we are currently not hosting children under 12yrs old nor pets. The space This apartment is on the 1st floor of an hundred year old two flat. And although we are certain you will be charmed by the feel, decor and location, we want to make sure that you know there is nothing modern about this accommodation. We are currently, albeit slowly, restoring the apartment to its original glory. Soon the floors will be re-sanded, more of the windows will open and furnishings will be upgraded. For now, we confidently call it clean, comfortable, eclectic and endearing. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for considering our oldie but goodie home. Guest access You will have access to the entire 1st floor apartment. The first floor balcony is exclusively yours too. Other things to note We kindly ask that our guests be respectful of our neighbors as this community is dear to us. Generally, it is pretty quiet after 11PM.
