Family cottage between the river and the sea

Family cottage 2 min walk to Shoreham Beach and over the river to Shoreham village with train links to Brighton, Gatwick and London. Our happy 4 bed home easily sleeps 6 adults. Relax in quiet, hike the downs, swim, kitesurf, hang out and play! The space Location location location. We are situated on a spit of exclusive land between the River Adur and the sea. By train 1 hour to London, 30 mins to Gatwick airport, 15 mins to Brighton. Our home has a laid back relaxed holiday appeal, cottage vibe, and we love to think of it as a happy home. The kitchen it great for entertaining, French doors open into the decked garden which connects to the sun room creating a lovely inside/outside space. The home has a large living area to stretch out in, looking out into the garden, at night with the doors open you can hear the waves of the sea. You will be able to access all mod cons within the house, wifi, washer dryer, dishwasher etc. The South Downs National Park is a short walk away, giving access to scenic walks and bike rides. Brighton is a short bus, train or taxi ride for a night out for great restaurants, bars and nightlife. Or go local with a choice of pubs and restaurants locally. Great coffee served a 7 min walk away at Ginger and Dobbs cafe. If you have any questions surrounding the area things to do etc we will be very happy to help over the email or phone. We hope you find the house a happy laid back vibe. Beach, river, the South Downs, trendy shops, restaurants and coffee. We recommend The Bridge Inn for a beer and good food situated overlooking the river, Ginger and Dobbs for coffee, the French Patisserie for bread and croissants, and The Beach House for good local seafood. The Emporium is great for local artists and secondhand finds. Visit Shoreham Fort at the end of the beach, the eclectic and bohemians houseboat community, the lighthouse, Mill Hill for great views, the 1930's airport, and the 12th-century church. The 700 bus into Brighton leaves opposite the footbridge over the River. The train station is less than a 10min walk through the town which accesses, London, Gatwick, Brighton. Walking is the best way to view the beach and the surrounding River. Guest access You will be able to access all mod cons within the house, wireless, cable TV, washer dryer, dishwasher etc. If you don't have your own sports gear there is an outdoor activity centre which can accommodate kayaking rock climbing bikes etc. The National South Downs is a walk away, brilliant walks a short drive away. Taxi distance to Brighton for a night out for great restaurants, bars and night life. Or go local with a choice of pubs and restaurants on the beach or over the river in the Village.
