The pure and airy architecture by a high-end dutch designer team gives you the opportunity to fully open the house to both sides to experience the unique Bali-feeling. The high roof, made from traditional natural material, and the typical sandstone floor gives it a warm and comfortable atmosphere. After a refreshing sleep in your king size bed in the air conditioned master bedroom, cuddled in fine smooth white linen you open your eyes to a spectacular view over the turquoise pool, adjacent green rice paddies and the mountain ridge in the distance. Get ready in your en-suite bathroom for your morning cappuccino on the wooden deck next to a small river, curled in cosy beanbags with a view of the sun rising over the rice fields. Meanwhile your complimentary breakfast with fresh tropical fruits, eggs, bread and pancakes will be prepared and you can enjoy it either in the villa or on the outside dining table right next to beautiful rice paddies under the shade of the palm trees. Now it’s time for relaxing by the pool. You have the option to use the rarely used communal 20-meter pool with a child pool or you choose the total privacy of your own infinity 18-meter salt-water lap pool, overlooking some of the most spectacular rice field views in Bali. Sun worshipers will be happy to enjoy the sun on the luxurious sun-beds by the pool or on the generous lounge-bed right next to the rice paddies. You can prepare your lunch in the fully furnished chef’s kitchen, or order some delicious food from one of the plenty wonderful restaurants in Ubud. Take a refreshing shower in the afternoon in one of the two open air showers and enjoy the view up to the palm trees. If you feel more like taking a bath, you can relax in the outside bathtub under palm trees. Now you are ready to watch the spectacular sunset on the terrace, have a nice drink and let the magical beauty absorb you. Meanwhile Santi will come to the villa and prepare it for the night. If you can’t pull yourself away from the quietness and beauty, you can order your dinner, or Santi can organize a professional chef to cook some traditional Balinese food for you in your villa. Guest access You will be renting the whole villa and have access to all rooms and facilities. Including master and guest bed room (both air conditioned), both with ensuite bathrooms, living / dining and kitchen in an open room concept, the east terrace next to our little creek and the west terrace next to the rice fields. And of course the private pool. Other things to note The villa is nestled in Balis beautiful nature and a healthy eco-system. You will notice fireflies, butterflies and some geckos and maybe small lizards, which are totally harmless and very shy. The geckos eat mosquitos and are considered good luck by the Balinese. Bali is probably one of the safest destinations in the world and we trust it to stay this way. For those concerned: The villa is fully lockable, has a safe installed for your convenience and surveillance by CCTV of the villa surrounding. The compound has staff during the day and security guards at nighttime. Long-term bookings (28 to 180 days) are possible and come with an automatic AirBnB discount. For our long term guests, we do not offer complimentary breakfast.
