Duplex, 140 m2, 2 steps from the city center

We offer our 140 m2 duplex apartment, in a 17th century building, in the heart of the historic center of Lyon: Le Vieux-Lyon. You'll fall in love with this fully renovated accommodation, in the spirit of Vieux Lyon. The space The apartment is on the street but the double glazing and the traffic exclusively reserved for residents make the night very comfortable. Please note, the apartment is located on a hill, however it is accessible by funicular stop "Place des Minimes" from where it only takes 3 minutes downhill to access it (perhaps the best solution with luggage). The walk up is very good, however, but requires more effort. It is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. In duplex, it consists of a 40 m2 living room, on the second level, open to a kitchen that offers all the necessary equipment to cook good dishes in the heart of the world capital of gastronomy (refrigerator, freezer, traditional electric oven, microwave, large gas hob, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso machine type Vertuo, kettle). Before the meal, to whet your appetite, a fitness room awaits you, as well as a Wii corner for relaxation (games and Wii Fit) and children who can also play on the mezzanine dedicated to them (toys available). Xbox and 4K TV are also included. The 3 bedrooms of the apartment are below, on the first level, which ensures you never hear the neighbors above. You will access the rooms via a wide steel spiral staircase. The first bedroom (12 m2) offers a 160x200 bed, in a "girly chic" atmosphere, the second bedroom (12 m2) offers a bunk bed, 140x200 at the bottom and 90x200 at the top, in a more "urban" atmosphere. These two rooms, which are independent, are separated by a sliding partition that allows full opening if necessary. The third bedroom, more intimate, is a master suite with its own walk-in shower and a 160 x 200 bed, in a "zen" atmosphere. A bathroom with spa bath awaits you to bask on the first level. This bathroom also has a washing machine and a drying rack. 2 toilets, one per floor, avoid the excessive use of stairs. Guest access The apartment is accessible by public transport: From Part-Dieu station, metro B + D, Vieux Lyon stop then for the less courageous, the funicular, Minimes stop. From Perrache station, metro A + D, Vieux Lyon stop then for the less courageous (avoid the hill on foot), the funicular, Minimes stop. From Saint-Exupery Airport, take the RhoneExpress tram shuttle (€13 per person) and get off at the "Part dieu" stop, then the metro line A+D (and the funi...) From the A6 or A7, follow the directions Lyon center - Quais de Soane then follow the direction Basilique de Fourvière From Geneva or Grenoble, follow the directions Périphérique Nord, Lyon Centre - La Doua then Hôtel de Ville and finally Basilique de Fourvière. Parking in the neighborhood is no longer free, but we find it quite easy to park, we encourage you to park upstream of the apartment, towards Rue des Farges or Rue de Trion. The Flowbird app allows you to pay parking fees without moving from your chair. Nearby parking lots offer the possibility to leave your vehicle for long periods. Other things to note In order to save energy, the heating of the rooms is programmed to maintain a reasonable temperature. If, however, it seems right to you, a duvet cover is available in each bedroom closet. Don't hesitate to ask us if you need anything. Regarding coffee, whenever possible we will provide you with pods to start. If you don't bring your capsules, you can get them directly from the Nespresso store, Place des Jacobins, 69002, Lyon.
