Com: Casa Natura ETV/11715 The spacious family friendly house is surrounded by a large garden and a little forest, making it the perfect hideaway for a tranquil holliday removed from the busy beach towns. Sunny terraces, the natural swimming pool (no chlorine) and our nearby farm will guarantee you relaxation, while kids will find plenty of adventure. Yet within 10-20min by car you will find many beautiful beaches and hikes. The beautiful house combines traditional mallorcan style and materials with more modern elements such as a wintergarden and underfloor heating. It was built by my parents and is part of a larger property, an old mallorcan water mill with 10 hectares of land including, fields, stalls, orchards, woods and a little stream. There is also a large “natural pool” that used to be the water reservoir for the water mill, the core of the farm, and is now used for swimming, with fresh water from the stream keeping it cool all summer. My parents live on the farm and cultivate an organic orchard, fruit trees, goats, sheep, chickens, geese, cats and sometimes a pig. We are mostly self-sustaining and run the farm and the guest houses in the most ecological way we can - thus using solar power for electricity, warm water and heating (plus firewood from our own trees), potable water from our own source and using many recycled materials. You are very much invited to join us in the farm life for feeding the animals and milking the goats in the morning, as well as making delicious yoghurt and fresh cheese out of it! Whenever there is enough, we are happy to share our crops, milk, homemade yoghurt, fresh cheese and meat with our guests. Please come and have a try! Guest access The house is built on two floors, the ground floor consisting mainly of a large living and dining room and kitchen; as well as a bathroom and one of the three bedrooms. On the upper floor there are two more bedrooms, separated by another bathroom. One of the bedrooms leads out to the terrace, from which you can see Arta with it's castle, and even as far as the sea. The other bedroom leads to a winter garden, making the house really cosy also in off season. All around the house there are several terraces and gardens and just a few steps away you have your private natural swimming pool (a bit elevated so there is no danger for small kids). Other things to note We have three more somewhat smaller guesthouses on our large 10 hectare property (~1000sq. ft). You can find two of these on my Airbnb profile. The third and smallest one (for 2-4 people) is not yet on airbnb (scroll to the end of the pictures for a teaser). Please contact me for more pictures and information! *Some more words about our price policy: our intention is to make holidays for families with many kids more affordable. Therefore our prices don't just increase with the number of guests as usual, but rather with the number of adults. So the price that you see is for one family (2 adults + kids). If you would like to rent the place together with grandparents or other adults that have their own income we increase the price by 10€/Night/adult. I hope you understand and am happy to answer any questions about our policy! **In winter extra heating with the chimney is needed. We provide the fire wood from our own forest and charge 5-10€/day for it (depending on the season/usage). ***Ecotax: there is a mandatory ecotax on Mallorca that we collect and hand over to the government. Depending on the season and duration of the stay it is between 0,25 - 2,2€/day for adults. Kids under 16 are exempt.
