Mountain sweet mountain TICINO

Mountain house renovated in 2014, on the hill of the village of Crana overlooking the valley and mountains. Facing south, it enjoys the sun all day. To reach the house, you have to take the narrow road of the Onsernone valley. When you arrive at the village, you will find free public parking spaces. From the village you have to walk 10 minutes, NOT reachable by car! Ideal for lovers of the mountains, nature and simplicity. Good starting point for trekking. The space The house is organized on two floors, on the ground floor there is a kitchen, bathroom, living room and balcony. On the first floor, which is still open to the living room, there is another bathroom and an open space that serves as a dormitory with 5 beds. The space is divided by a curtain creating two spaces, but PLEASE NOTE that there are no private rooms. The house is therefore completely open and communicating between the floors. Guest access The house benefits from a large green plot all around. A grill and a nice large stone table in true Ticino style to share with the house next door, which is also rented out every now and then. Other things to note It is a mountain house, therefore not recommended for those who prefer comforts. Not recommended for families with small children who are not used to the mountains. The nearest department store is in Tegna, which is a 30-minute drive away. House heated by wood-burning stove or pellets. There are no shutters, equipped with curtains but not blackout.
