Welcome to a luxury villa right on the sandy shores of the Indian Ocean. The villa is located in a quiet small village Talalla with a beautiful bay and a sandy beach. Small local markets ans cafes are in a walking distance.You can always find there fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables. Antique furniture and old architecture will take you back several centuries and you will feel like a colonial traveler. Ceiling fans in every room and lots of windows, keeps the house cool and fresh. The space The best place for a relaxing holiday without many tourists. The villa is fully staffed for luxury holiday. On the territory of the villa you can enjoy big swimming pool, to relax and sunbathe in the recreation area and gazebo. You will be pleased with a wonderful garden with palm trees, bananas, papaya, mangoes exotic healthy fruit –«Anoda». Antique furniture and old architecture will take you back several centuries and you will feel like a colonial traveler. Ceiling fans in every room and lots of windows, keeps the house cool and fresh. Six days a week, in the morning, housekeeper comes, the villa is served by Nihal speaks English and will be also your reliable assistant (will tell you about local attractions, locations of shops, restaurants, organize massages right on the territory of the villa, etc.) You can contact him for any questions (transfer, rental scooter, etc.). Several times a week we clean the pool. This procedure takes about one hour. We apologize if this is inconvenient. The villa is located in the south of the island. The beach is 1.5 km away beautiful, uncrowded, there are cozy places where there are few waves and even children bathe. In five minutes of walking there is an excellent restaurant with dishes of local and European cuisine. A public trаnsport stops are 20 meters away from the main gate of Villa. Big city Matara (12 km to the west ) – is the capital of the Sothern Province. There are many shopping stores, banks, post office, railway and Bus stations. Small town Dikwell (8km to the east) is district center have shops, fish and vegetable markets, several banks and bus station. Not far from the gate of the Villa , near the school, which turned 100 years old !!! , you will find parking for private motorcycles with a sidecar. They are called «Tuk-tuk» (Baj Jaj) , it is a popular form of transport in Sri Lanka. Nihal can also offer driver services in a comfortable minivan. The villa consists of two mirrored parts. In the left half: - Bedroom 1 (king size canopy bed with anti-mosquito net, super comfortable mattress 30 cm high, antique bedside tables and rattan couch; - Living room 1 (antique furniture: 2 wardrobes, 2 dressers, mirror, large writing desk, tea table, rattan sofa with a full berth, single ottoman bed; - Bathroom 1 (shower, two sinks on a common marble worktop, large mirror, toilet with hygienic shower) - Dressing room 1 (shelf, table, floor coat hanger rack) In the right half: - Bedroom 2 (antique king size bed with a canopy, which serves as protection against mosquitoes, a super comfortable mattress with a height of 25 cm, antique furniture: bedside table, dresser, mirror) - Living room 2 (antique furniture: wardrobe, bureau (workstation for a computer), antique dressing table, folding double sofa, rattan sofa with a full sleeper, rattan couch, tea table) - Bathroom 2 (shower, two separate sinks, two mirrors, toilet with hygienic shower) - Dressing room 2 (hangers shelf, table, fridge) Veranda: huge dining table, rattan loungers and rattan chairs, coffee tables Kitchen: combined stove (gas and electric), tiled worktop with sink, dishwasher dryer, shelves with jars for dry products, drawers with dishes and kitchenware, a large fridge with ice maker. Guest access Two fully independent and isolated parts of the house, 100 sq.m. each. Large veranda, with a dining table and lounge chairs. Free-standing compact kitchen, with all the necessary equipment and a set of beautiful dishes. Specially equipped barbecue place. Hot water in both bathrooms and in the kitchen. Pergola for sports, yoga and massage. Professional massage table, massage can be ordered by a housekeeper. Beautiful pool, one of the largest in the area with night illumination. Other things to note On the villa we have beautiful gazebo you can relax on an Ayurvedic massage session with the sound of the ocean. Massage will be done by a high-class specialist from the large Mirissa massage salon with 20 years of experience. There is a surf school on our beach. We will arrange for you an excursion to the oldest tea factory. The family business owner will tell you about tea and show everything: from picking up leaves to packing. You will be treated to a local dinner. You can taste any teas and buy it in a gift boxes as SL souvenir. You can visit the unique underground Buddhist temple just 10 km from the villa. The southernmost point of the island is Dondra city - 5 km from the villa. The highest lighthouse on Sri Lanka is located here. Dondra is also famous with one of the oldest beautiful Buddhist temple with live elephants. Beautiful city of Galle, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site , is just an hour from the villa. You have a wonderful opportunity to see the rich wildlife of Sri Lanka in Yala and Udavala National parks (2.5-3 hours away). Those trips, at your request, can be organized by Nihal, our housekeeper.
