Billerwell Farm is a charming traditional Scottish farmhouse surrounded by fantastic views hidden away in the lovely Rule Valley. We offer three bedrooms that have been recently refurbished to create a lovely peaceful atmosphere. You will be given a delicious full English breakfast to set you up for the day whether it be walking Ruberslaw, the Eildon Hills, looking at historical Abbeys or shopping for cashmere at the Mills in Hawick. We very much look forward to welcoming you at Billerwell. The space Situated in the hidden away Rule Valley, halfway between Hawick and Jedburgh. Billerwell is perfectly located for walkers, nature lovers and historical Abbeys. The original part of Billerwell was built in the late 1800's and is full of character and charm and has been lovingly refurbished in the last two years. The house sits directly below the famous hill Ruberslaw and has a wonderful view of this great hill, the house also looks down the valley across our garden to a beautiful lake that always has a mass of wildfowl on it including swans. We offer three lovely bedrooms for our guests. The bedrooms are east facing catching the early morning sun, furnished with antiques and all three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with soft towels and toiletries provided. Our double/twin has twin beds made up as a double that can be separated should this be required, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, free wifi and ensuite bathroom with a shower/bath. Please see the other 2 listings for more bedrooms. Breakfast will be served in our recently refurbished dining room. Our guests are welcome to relax in the sitting room where they have internet access and a lovely warm wood burner for when the weather is a bit chillier, this room also has double patio doors out into the garden where guests are free to roam and explore our large garden and the lake below in the field. We have a fantastic drying room across the courtyard for those damp clothes and wet boots. Please note that we are a STRICTLY NO SMOKING HOUSE. Ashtrays are provided outside. Guest access We provide ample parking for our guests in the courtyard outside the front door. Own car is essential. Accessibility: Billerwell is not recommended for mobility restricted guests. During your stay We are very much looking forward to reopening on the 1st August and with safety for both our guests and ourselves paramount. We are taking the Covid-19 Pandemic very seriously and our guests safety during their stay at Billerwell is very important to us. We will continue to monitor and assess the safety of guests and staff as we reopen. On your arrival you will be met by your host, who will be very pleased to see you, you will be then asked to sanitise your hands and have your temperature taken by an infra red thermometer at social distance, if your temperature is within the normal range you will then be shown to your room which will have been cleaned, sanitised and reset. We very much enjoy welcoming guest into our home and hopefully making them feel comfortable.
