This includes professional cleaning as well as replacement of linens: washed sheets, duvet covers, towels, bath mats, etc. The work required to prepare the house is the same for a one-night stay as for a three-week stay. That's why the shorter the stay, the higher the proportional cost – it seems logical and fair to us. We simply ask our guests to leave the house in a good condition, as you would when leaving a house lent by a friend: clean kitchen, dishes washed, garbage emptied, furniture put back in place, beds undone and linen collected (see details in our House Rules). That said, we use it daily without any problems, including washing vegetables, brushing teeth, or doing dishes.
