Ski Chalet with pool, private sauna + superb views

Chalet Mechka is a large stylish chalet nestled in the forest. It sleeps 11 in 4 bedrooms. 2 x king bedrooms, 1 x twin bedroom (2 single beds) and a room for 5, with 2 sets of bunk beds and a pull out bed. It is furnished to a high standard and has stunning views of the Rila mountains and ski slopes. It has a private in-house sauna plus shared hot tub and heated swimming pool (ski season) in the main building - pool towels are provided. The complex also has a lovely bistro and mini mart. Bar/bistro Reception area Mini market Shuttle bus (£4 pp each day for whole stay) Other things to note GONDOLA - The gondola and lifts are open all year so ideal for mountain walking and mountain biking in the summer as well as skiing/snowboarding in the winter. SHUTTLE BUS - The shuttle bus into town/gondola runs every 30-40 mins back and forth from around 8am-7pm @£4/day (for while stay) during the ski season (mid December-mid April) The stunning drive to the town centre takes 10-15 minutes. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, the ski gondola, ski slopes and ski hire. CAR HIRE- If you’re looking to hire a car, we recommend ‘Top Rent-A-Car’ with easy pick up from Sofia airport. PARKING - There is free onsite parking at the complex, and paid parking in the town centre. SKI + SNOWBOARD HIRE - You can arrange your ski/snowboard hire and lift passes online or alternatively book these when you arrive. We tecomwnd Hunters via the complex or Traventuria - this is below the Ela hotel in the centre of town. You can leave your skis and equipment there over night so you don't have to take them back to the chalet, which is recommended. RESTAURANT - For cosy evenings when you'd rather stay in, there is a mini-mart, bar and a restaurant at the complex, which offers a wide range of delicious local and international dishes. INFANTS - High chairs, cots and baby monitors are available - please let us or reception know if you need these items. English speaking baby-sitters can be arranged on request. ENTERTAINMENT - There is TV and WIFI in the chalet, and DVDs, books and board games that you can borrow from reception. Don't forget all that beautiful, untouched snow around the chalet - snowmen and snowball fights are encouraged!
