Nestled upon rolling hills, the cottage offers a peaceful escape with stunning views of the Tweed Valley and nearby mountains. Relax on the private timber deck to see wallabies grazing across the hillside and small honey-eaters visit the cottage garden. As night falls, soak in the outdoor stone bathtub beneath the stars. Tucked away from it all, yet just 10 minutes from the conveniences of Murwillumbah. A quiet retreat, with great reception + Wi-Fi, if you need to log on during your stay. The space Six acres with views to infinity. In addition to an inside bathroom, there is an outdoor white stone hot bathtub with pure mineral water, to soak up more of those views. Located 10 minutes drive from Murwillumbah, where there are restaurants, a Coles supermarket, and activities including the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and the Tweed Regional Gallery & Art Centre. During the cooler months, if it is not raining, you can opt to book the fire pit, which we set up ready to light and provide outdoor chairs and a generous supply of wood (fee applies). Guest access With shaded off-street parking, the Cottage is a fully detached studio with a private deck and outdoor bathtub. Inside there's a private bathroom, loungeroom and kitchenette. You can log into your own streaming service and there's a little blue tooth music player for you to connect to if you feel like your own music. There's also a local walking guide, info on the local area and highlights, DVDs, books ( you can keep & take home) and many board games inside the cottage for your use. We have a key lockbox for self check in and out. Other things to note The kichenette has a full size fridge / freezer, microwave, electric frypan, 2 hotplate plug-in electric stove top, toaster, kettle, cutlery pots, pans and crockery. There is also a coffee plunger and most utensils. There is no oven, stove or dishwasher. Children and pets are not permitted for safety reasons. You can log into your own streaming as well as regular TV facilities, DVDs and player, and a large stack of books (take a book or two home!) and board-games. Smoking is permitted on the cottage deck and outside the cottage only. Being in the countryside there can be a number of bugs and flying insects, always keep the fly screens closed (there is bug spray under the sink if needed). Registration Details PID-STRA-7771
