A Lodge In Blue Aveiro city center
A Lodge in Blue
Description
The Lodge In Blue, is one of the rare houses of Aveiro historic centre that, although modernized, still holds a genuine feel. Near the Chapel of S. Gonçalinho (1714), next to the Fish Market, and near the typical bars and restaurants, the three-level Lodge In Blue has been partially rehabilitated in 2014, retaining many of its original materials, giving it the atmosphere of the traditional Beira-Mar houses of the 50s. The space The house accommodates up to eight guests of the same group, in five rooms (two double, one twin and two singles). The ground floor was the one that went through bigger rehabilitation works. In the living room, guests can watch any of the world's television channels - sports, movies or series and have their meals by the window. The kitchen is equipped with 4 gas hobs, mini-fridge, all the essential small appliances, coffee machine, and all the necessary cooking tools, and kitchenware, crockery, glasses and cutlery. A small table allows you to have quick meals in here. The restroom includes a new shower cabin, and, thus, can be used as an alternative to the 1st floor restroom. The decor is simple and functional, and the large comfortable sofa can be used as a bed. The first floor has the house’s "personality" untouched, with its original wooden floors, the typical wooden doors and the large windows. The master bedroom is spacious and bright. Equipped with a double bed, wardrobe and dresser, this room is intended to accommodate two people, who here will find a zone of comfort and isolation. The second bedroom is equipped with a single bed, intended to accommodate one person, who will find here the quietest part of the house. It is lit from a skylight, which gives it the genuine atmosphere of this type of houses. The third room in this floor does not have a window. The restroom, although retaining the original design and the old wooden floors, has been completely rehabilitated, featuring a new shower cabin, modern washbasin and comfortable lighting. The upper floor was built at a later stage than the rest, so it has a less traditional but still comfortable configuration. This floor does not have a restroom. The master bedroom on the top floor is equipped with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. It has a raised window, from which you can see the entire architectural configuration of the historic centre of Aveiro. The secondary room on the top floor has two windows, which gives it a great light. This room accommodates two persons in individual beds. The decoration of the Upper Floor is spartan, reflecting the desire to keep this area as a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the historical centre, making it a place of rest and tranquillity. Free internet is available in every room. Registration Details 64925/Al
