Remodeled in 2023, this funky apartment in our home is separated from the upstairs with private keypad entrance. New kitchenette & bathroom, eating/work area, cozy living room and access to beautiful backyard. Location is steps to Light Rail, nestled between Downtown and the Denver Tech Center. As a basement unit in our house, best for low key couples, biz travelers, DU visitors, tourists, cannabis consumers, LGBTQ+ folks, honeymooners and Red Rocks concert goers. Ask to use Level 2 EV charger! The space Our mid-century home has transcended its mod décor down the stairs into the apartment with fun design and cozy living space. The kitchenette has a sink, mini-refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig stocked with plenty of coffee pods. We always put water bottles and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge. Plates, utensils and other kitchen amenities are provided. The living room is cozy with two swivel, rocking lounge chairs, best for low key guests (not the party all night crowd). It has a huge TV that includes Netflix capability. We also have good ole Blu-ray movies and a plethora of games. Just your basic bedroom with an empty dresser, closet space and a queen bed. Oh, and the heated mattress pad comes in handy during the winter months and a white noise machine for those with sleep challenges in new spaces. There is also an iron and ironing board available in the closet. The bathroom is all new - shower, tile, and vanity. It's equipped with comfy robes and plush towels. No need to bring soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer ... it's all there. Guest access Well lit, private entrance with keyless entry thru a short gate on the side of the house with reserved parking spot in the front of the house. You'll receive your personal key code and entry instructions upon booking. Other things to note ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO NOTE: We have two tabby cats in our upstairs property but no worries, the rental space has been kept pet free. There is a shared hallway a the bottom of the steps that leads to the Retro Pad but also offers us access our laundry room at the bottom of the steps. REQUESTS FOR EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECKOUT: Guests seeking to check in prior to 2pm or checkout after 11am may be required to pay a minimal one-time fee to accommodate the request. BREAKFAST GOODIES: Please send us a message if you are interested in adding on Breakfast Goodies to your reservation (e.g. homemade scones; egg muffins; fresh fruit; juice $10/day/person). We collect a food survey in advance of your stay to keep you safe & satisfied. DENVER SHORT TERM RENTAL/LODGING REGULATIONS: We abide by the new Denver City and County regulations that our unit is located at our primary residence. Be wary of booking at unlicensed listings.
