A comfortable and cosy room in a 17th century wool merchant's house in the heart of Painswick. Ideal for walkers on the Cotswold Way. Organic breakfast included. Antiques, log fires and books galore, Beautiful village with excellent places to eat out within strides of St Annes. Train station Stroud 3.5 miles with hourly bus. The space In the heart of the village of Painswick, surrounded by several excellent places to eat out for supper and stagger home afterwards without the need to get in a car! Right on the Cotswold Way and close to the Wysis Way so perfect for weary walkers. A 17th century woolmerchant's home of old English charm and warmth. A family house with dogs and muddy boots in the hall. Guest access Hallway with a place for coats, boots and bikes, a downstairs loo and utility room for washing off any muddy kit. Dining room where you take breakfast. Bedroom and ensuite bathroom. During your stay We also live in the house but you have your own room and bathroom. Other things to note We have two little terriers! They are friendly but they do bark when you arrive.
