After a long day on the slopes, cook a meal in the spacious kitchen, curl up on the comfy couch in front of a fire, or enjoy a game of foosball, before taking a dip in the private hot tub. Family and pet friendly. The space Big Bear Chalet features a bright, open-floor-plan living area with large windows and a high ceiling. A wood burning stove along with stone and wood elements create a cozy rustic feel, while the updated kitchen and flooring throughout make it feel clean and modern. The dining table seats 8-10 with 4 stools at the nearby kitchen island. Full kitchen features oversized refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, and a drip-coffee machine. Prepare your own dinner in the full kitchen or enjoy takeout from one of the local restaurants in style. There’s a large entry area with plenty of room for all of your gear. The layout, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on each floor is perfect for 2 families or groups to share. The upstairs has one room with a king-sized bed (2) with a twin-over-full-sized bunk-bed (3) in the room across the hall. The upstairs bathroom was renovated in 2025 with a heated tile floor, a new shower/bathtub, and a double vanity. Downstairs has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed (2) and a full-over-full-sized bunk across the hall (4). The downstairs 3/4 bathroom was also renovated in 2025 with a heated tile floor, a new walk in shower, and a double vanity. There is a large sectional couch in the living room and smaller futon in the loft, which converts to a small twin bed (1). The foosball table is sure to be a favourite, and there are boardgames, books, and toys to help keep everyone entertained. There are also two TVs with a Netflix and cable. Guest access Guests have access to entire home except one locked closet upstairs with owners' personal belongings. There is a completely separate downstairs unit that is not included. Other things to note Hot tub is open all year long. There is no air conditioning. Big White Ski Resort is currently scheduled to open for the Winter Season on November 24, 2022.
