STATE STREET SUITE #7 in the historic West End, is beautifully renovated featuring, 1 super comfy king bed, 1 queen sofa bed (made only on request/added fees may apply), fully equipped kitchen, large comfy living space and 1 full bath. RELIABLE SUPER-FAST INTERNET/WIFI @ 100MBPS. Walk or bike to nearby shops, restaurants and downtown, bike trails, the green belt, the Whitewater Park and Bogus Basin is nearby. I-84 access less than 1/2 mile away, the airport - 15 min away. Rated 4.9 out of 5. Our guest suites are very close to St.Luke's Medical Center at 1.3 miles away and St.Alphonsus at 3 miles away. Also very close to several specialty clinics for both hospitals. Public transit is literally a few yards away on State Street. Besides being recognized for our spotlessly clean suites, ware also providing cleaning and disinfecting supplies for our guests. We also offer a high efficiency HVAC system with a variable speed fan and an Air Scrubber. The variable speed fan constantly moves the air throughout the interior space pulling it through the return air ducts past the high efficiency air filter and the FDA Approved Air Scrubber and back into the interior space. The Air Scrubber removes contaminants, bacteria, allergens and viruses virtually sterilizing the air. Please read on to learn more about our place. Our guest suites are available for nightly, weekly and monthly rental. Whether you are visiting for just a few nights or will be needing a longer term place to stay, we can accommodate you. If you are staying for 7 nights or more, we offer a discounted rate. The discount will be automatically calculated when you inquire or make a reservation. The base price quoted is for up to 2 guests. There is an additional charge for 3 or 4 guests. Please note our location and make sure our place would be a good fit: Our property is on State Street in the west end of downtown. State Street is a very busy main route into the city. The vast majority of our guests love the convenience of the location and the hustle and bustle of people and traffic coming and going. If you desire a more off the beaten path, less busy area then there are other options in the West End that might be a better fit and you should search them out. Built in 1939, this renovated triplex consists of 3 suites, #3, #5, #7. We completed a top to bottom, inside and out renovation in 2018 while maintaining many of the vintage 1930's features. This is a daylight/walkout basement suite, so you may hear noises from other guests through the shared walls and ceiling/floor. This charming suite features 1 king memory foam bed, 1 full bath, large living room with plenty of comfortable seating, queen memory foam sleeper sofa, (bed made up on request) infra-red fireplace , A/C, Smart TV, Blue Ray, High speed WiFi that covers the entire property, and Direct TV. Offering 635 sq. ft. of living space, this suite is cozy so its perfect for a couple, but will sleep 4 people. The full kitchen is stocked with everything one would need to feel right at home. The cold water at the kitchen sink is filtered. There is also a pantry that will allow you to stock up on provisions for longer stays. The cozy nook can accommodate 4 guests or guests can choose to dine in the living room while watching a movie using our oversized TV trays. Free, 24 hour on-street parking is available on 22nd St. and surrounding neighborhood streets nearby. Enjoy the front and back yards with shared fenced courtyard in the backyard area with covered area for outdoor enjoyment. A gas BBQ with propane is available. Guests have access to the front yard and back patio. The hot tub/spa is private. We or in some cases our co-hosts are always available to guests to address any needs, answer questions or deal with any issues that may arise. We love to meet our guests when we can and create a personal connection if guests are open to that. Some guests just want to be left alone so we respect that as well. We offer 24/7 check-in for your convenience. Normal check-in is between 4 and 9 PM. If you need to check in at a different time, you will need to make arrangements in advance with us. No keys required as each dwelling has it's own unique pre-programmed code for the touchpad electronic deadbolts. Developers started platting the West End just after the turn of the 20th century blending both Rural and Urban amenities. Close to the city but with a country feel. It's boundaries are State Street to the north, Veterans Parkway to the west, Boise River to the south and 16th street to the east. Our property is located in a small triangular West End addition called the "Cunningham Addition" platted in 1913 with construction on our place starting in 1939. Most of the land on the northern most boundary the West End was used as farmland with orchards, hay fields and grazing for goats, sheep and cattle. The original "Hester" farmhouse still stands a few blocks to the west at the corner of State Street and 25th Street. The neighborhood features many vintage "Bungalow" style homes located on narrow tree lined streets. A few homes have been converted to professional offices, and retail businesses but kept the residential look. We really love this neighborhood. See the Guidebook for featured retail, grocery and restaurants nearby. You can easily walk or bike to the downtown area and most of the parks and the Greenbelt along the Boise River. Public transportation is convenient with a bus stop a very short walk away. There are also e-scooters from Lime and Bird throughout the West End Neighborhood and the downtown area that are a fun way to get around. Extended stays: For longer term stays of 7 nights or more, clean sheets and towels will be provided on a weekly basis. Laundry facilities are available upon request. No housekeeping services are provided during your stay. The guest is expected to keep the guest suite clean. For stays of 3 weeks or longer, the cleaning fee is $250. Hosts will need access to the guest suite for routine inspection and maintenance, and unexpected repairs. We will prearrange a time that is convenient for the guest. Use of the Sleeper Sofa: If there are 2 guests, and the sleeper sofa will be used, there is an additional charge of $10 per night. The couch may not be used as a bed. If an additional bed is required then the sleeper sofa shall be used. We love this place, the neighborhood and the location so much we decided to live in the larger unit #3, so we are here full time. Both the front and back of the property are well lit at night. Be aware that State Street is very busy. This is near the downtown area, and State Street is a major East/West route to and from the downtown area. We live here so we can tell you that when indoors and especially in the bedrooms the traffic noise is hardly noticeable except for the occasional emergency vehicles that pass by on their missions. If you want tranquility, peace and quiet, you might consider accommodations that are in a quieter area, more off the beaten path.
