Margate's train station is a 10-15 minute walk away, with direct links with London The space THE LIVING ROOM A sunny spacious living room with high ceilings, original features including (non-working) marble fireplace and shuttered windows with views across Hawley Square Gardens. We have an eclectic mid-century style with original G Plan furniture and displays of local art and retro-treasures, including a fully functioning Dansette record player and vinyls to enjoy. Centrally heated with free unlimited wi-fi, TV and Netflix account. With A comfy sofa-bed that is perfect for sleeping 2 people THE BEDROOM Relax in this tastefully decorated bedroom with a luxury king-size bed, feather pillows and duvet. There is plenty of storage and hanging space and a shuttered window that looks out onto the garden. BATHROOM Great little tiled shower room with new shower and small basin. Towels, shampoo and toiletries provided. HALLWAY & KITCHEN The quirky layout of the hallway leads 2 steps down to small but compact kitchen with oven, fridge, coffee machine and toaster. There are plenty of pots, pans and cutlery etc for those who want to cook. The kitchen is also stocked with basics such as tea, coffee, sugar and condiments. We do not have a dishwasher or washing machine (yet). THE GARDEN The kitchen leads onto a private paved garden which is being renovated at the time of posting but is still accessible. The garden will be BBQ - ready by April 2020. SAFETY - We have a Carbon monoxide detector, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher. PARKING: There is no on-site free parking but there is usually on-street pay & display parking between the hours of 8am and 6pm (each ticket is limited to 2 hours max). There is a short and long stay car park at Market Street in the Old Town as well as car park at Morrisons on Hawley Street. Alternatively you can park in Dreamland for 24hrs. SOME THINGS TO NOTE: NOISE We ask that you try to keep any noise down to a sensible level as we do have neighbours that live in the rest of the building to respect and consider. Ours is a private home which we welcome you into. We trust that whilst we want you to relax and enjoy your surroundings that you look after it with care We have recently installed a summerhouse/workspace in the garden which has power and wi-fi.
