Over many years this now-cottage has been home to many tools, lobster traps, and artwork, but most importantly, it has been home to dreams. Now, we want to welcome you into ours. The space We renovated the space with you and our family in mind. Both have always been our goal. The comforts for our small family in mind, that you will love, too. Entering into our home you will feel a warmth and hominess lovingly curated with wood, colour, and history. With a view of Swallow Tail Lighthouse, the water only a minute’s walk away, and hiking close to hand, you’ve got so many options to get outside, or just stay in to enjoy it. The stars are countless on a clear night, and with the windows open you can hear the waves crashing, the deer huffing, and upon occasion, a whale blowing in the cove. By day let the gorgeous colours of the scenery in trees, flowers, and of the many species of birds here astound you! Guest access As mentioned, this is our home too, and while we won’t be sharing the cottage with you - that’s definitely yours alone - the main house is close by, and the large yard is shared with our adorable (and highly rated ;) ) gift shop, Pettes Cove Arts. Oh, and our little guy who is sure to introduce himself with enthusiasm, and probably a hug! Other things to note The cottage has a small kitchen with apartment-sized appliances, including fridge and stove. We've tried our best to leave things set up for cooking with pots, pans, and some ovenware.
