Welcome to Sleepy Hallowell Bed and Breakfast! We are a traditional B&B, who have been graciously opening our doors to guests since 2000 in beautiful Prince Edward County! We offer the use of our provincial park pass in the summer so guests can use it to book a day use permit for either Sandbanks or North Beach, seasonal pool, and a complimentary continental breakfast. Short Term Accommodation License #: 2019-0151 The space This booking is for one private 130 Sq. Ft. bedroom that is on the second floor of a century old house, with a shared bathroom that is external to the bedroom. This bathroom is shared with one other bedroom that would have a maximum of one guest. There is a convertible chair bed in the room in case a second bed is needed. Built in 1906, this modest farm house has had many loving occupants over the century, and has lived through the roaring twenties, the dirty thirties, and was around during two world wars. Floors are now distressed in some areas from wear, and will creek and groan under your weight. Walls are straight as ever with layers of painted facelifts that will make you feel oddly welcomed with her attempts at vanity. They are not thin, but have relayed years of goodnight wishes from room to room. Guests are asked to behave respectfully as the walls will tattle on you in the quiet of the night. Guest access Guests may use the dining room to eat, or to work on, the outside patio, which is near the parking at the back of the house, living room and front porch. There is also a screened in gazebo in the summer that guests may use. These additional areas are shared spaces. There is no use of kitchen appliances by guests except for the kettle, toaster and microwave. There is no cooking in bedrooms. During your stay We share our home, and we live in the house as well. You are renting one private bedroom in a traditional bed and breakfast. I respect our guests right to privacy, and am there for them if they have any questions.
