Our guesthouse is a perfect getaway in the country with a peaceful lakefront view. We have amazing sunsets & full starry nights. Enjoy sitting on the patio bird-watching & listening to nature sounds under the big trees. At night relax at the fire pit, watch fireflies while listening to the frogs & nocturnal sounds. The guesthouse has a loft bedroom upstairs. Downstairs has huge windows, small kitchen, table for 4, bathroom/shower, living room with Smart TV, Wi-Fi and more! The space Our cozy 750 s.f. guesthouse is perfect for solo travelers, couples, or close friends. We are welcoming and inclusive. Ideal for a several week-long retreat. We are only 1 hour from Dallas/DFW airport and 20 minutes from McKinney. There is a queen-size pedestal bed in the upstairs loft. The living room has large windows and is ideal for snuggling, relaxing with a great read, writing, or enjoying a show on the Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Keurig, toaster, blender, pots/pans, dishes, salt & pepper, wine opener, can opener, etc. We also provide towels and linens, toiletries, a hairdryer, clothing iron, and a hotel safe. We have ceiling fans in the living room, loft, & patio. DVD/Blu-Ray movies are available on request (from catalog). The back patio has comfy furniture and is the picture-perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee/tea while gazing upon the conservation lake. Guest access We share the overall outdoor property and part of the lake. Don't worry, you will have plenty of space and our respect for your privacy! Guest laundry room is located thru the people door inside the detached garage (follow the stone walkway). Bring a pole for catch & release fishing! Other things to note *Entry gate opening MAXIMUM 11' CLEARANCE. *Message host if towing a trailer to determine maneuvering and parking. *Life in the country on our 4 acres can include insects, particularly in the warm seasons. Also, you could see or hear critters such as various birds, bats, raccoons, armadillos, beaver, opossum, coyotes, donkeys, cows, horses, and more. *Guesthouse is not childproof. *The main entry gate will be left open during your visit. *Wall A/C/heat unit and faux fireplace space heater. *Refrigerator dispenses filtered water and ice.
