Our bright apartment is centrally located in Walenstadt. It offers plenty of space for families or couples. A large terrace with a gas grill invites you to linger in summer. Shopping is right outside the door, the train station with connections to Zurich or Chur can be reached in 5 minutes, the beautiful Walensee with free beach and playground in 15 minutes on foot. From here, you can also easily reach the Flumserberge by public transport or car, perfect for winter sports or biking. The space The apartment is on the 1st floor of a residential and commercial building. On the ground floor there is a shop, on the 2nd and 3rd floor is our private apartment. The first bedroom has 2 single beds and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has a double bed (1.40 m) as well as a clothes rack with drawers. The cozy living room has a sofa and two comfortable wingback chairs. A TV, various books (for children and adults) and some games and toys ensure that even in bad weather there is no boredom. On the other side of the large living room, it has a small desk and a dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, capsule coffee machine, cheese fondue pan, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. Guest access In the basement there is the washing machine, which can be used by arrangement. We don't have a dryer, but we do have a dehumidifier, so the clothes dry relatively quickly. In addition, a clothes rack is available in the apartment, which can also be used on the terrace. When the weather is nice, the laundry is dry in no time. The terrace with gas grill, tables and chairs is a cozy place to relax, especially in summer. It is mostly available for your exclusive use. Please note that the terrace is not secured for small children, which means please do not leave small children unattended on the terrace. Other things to note The terrace cannot be entered directly from the apartment. However, the patio door is located just to the right of the apartment entrance. The passage leads through a small room used by us (storage room) Since our house is bright, you may occasionally hear noises from above (children) or hear the doorbell from the store on the first floor. Also, the staircase is shared, so you might hear it in the morning when the kids have to go to school. In the apartment is a fireplace. However, this CANNOT be used to make a fire. We own a cat whose cat ladder leads down the terrace.
