Charming, sun-drenched detached guest house on a quiet residential street in the best part of Silverlake. Convenient to the reservoir, shops, restaurants, Echo Park, and downtown LA. The space The best of both worlds. This guest house is quiet and private, with beamed ceilings, a skylight, and windows looking out into our park-like back yard with chirping birds and a fountain. We are in the heart of Silverlake/Echo Park, so you're also close to all the action. Step out of your pied-à-terre and you can see peekaboo views of downtown LA, which is less than fifteen minutes away. Go one mile down our street and you're on Sunset Boulevard. Head the other direction on foot down the famous Silverlake secret stairs (walk #24, Silverlake Terraces East) or by car for a five minute ride and you're on Silverlake Boulevard right by the walking path around the reservoir, the rec center, and plenty of shops and restaurants such as Alimento, L&E Oyster Bar, Milk, Botanica, Leela Thai, LA Mill Coffee, and more. The weather is usually gorgeous, but if it's hot we have air conditioning and plenty of fans, and if it's cold we have a cute gas fireplace heater. A small kitchenette area has a dorm-sized refrigerator, a microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and utensils for your use.
