Our bright basement apartment in a modern wooden house is lovingly and high-quality furnished. It is a place to switch off and enjoy, perfectly located in the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park with fantastic views of the mountains. We look forward to seeing you! Sincerely – Nina, Michael & Max The space You can park directly in front of our wooden house built in 2020 in a parking space reserved for you and reach the basement and thus your private entrance door via a few steps. In front of it is your small covered courtyard with wooden terrace, flowers and seating. From here you can enjoy the view of the mountains and the song of the crickets on mild summer evenings with a glass of wine, eat or watch the deer in the meadow – thanks to the roofing, this is possible even in rainy weather. In summer, there are two sun loungers in the garden, a small sofa with a table for you, so you can enjoy sun & peace. Or how about a starry cinema by the fire pit? The apartment has an area of 37 square meters. In the large, bright room you will find a cozy sofa with chaise longue, a reading chair, two side tables, a dining table for 2-4 people with chair and bench. From this room you can enjoy the fantastic views over meadows and forests to the mountains. When the leaves fall from the trees outside and the snowflakes dance in front of the window in winter, you can wrap yourself in one of the many cozy blankets and make yourself comfortable. A selection of (alpine) reading and some board games are available for you. In addition, this room has a high-quality and very well-equipped kitchen with fridge & freezer compartment, oven, stove, extractor hood, dishwasher and everything you need to have a good culinary time. In the kitchen you will also find an electric grill that you can use on the terrace. We have organic oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and some spices available for you. We also provide a selection of organic teas. Also in the kitchen is the washing machine, which you are welcome to use free of charge. Detergent is available for a small fee. The bedroom faces north. Due to the light shaft window, there are no disturbing lights from the outside and you will be able to sleep here heavenly quiet. In the bedroom there is a new 1.80 x 2.00 meter oak bed for a good night's sleep. We are happy to make the beds for you. All you have to do is snuggle into the pillows and dream of your next mountain adventure. In the very large wardrobe, all your clothes will find space and a yoga mat also awaits you here to ensure perfect relaxation. The bedroom and living room are equipped with high-quality oak floors. By the way, you don't have to worry about cold feet. The apartment is fully equipped with underfloor heating, which you can adjust individually in each room. In the bathroom, you will find a shower and sink as well as a hairdryer, hot water bottle, cozy towels and soap. If you've forgotten your toothbrush or similar, we're happy to help. Depending on availability, you are welcome to use our sauna, which is located in our area of the house, for a fee. The Swiss pine sauna can accommodate 3 people. It is equipped with a color light system. We are happy to provide you with sauna towels, soft drinks (a small fridge is in the sauna room) and an organic infusion. In the sauna room, you can also shower and relax on one of the two loungers between sauna sessions. You can also get bathrobes from us. Your host Nina is an International Mountain Leader and mountain hiking guide. You can also book tours in the Ammergauer and Allgäu Alps or in the Zugspitz area with her. She also regularly offers forest bathing in Bad Bayersoien. Sustainability is a matter of the heart for us, because climate protection concerns us all. So we strive to keep our apartment "green." Our wooden house is almost completely recyclable and manufactured to a high standard of building biology. We only use biodegradable cleaning agents and detergents to clean the apartment. In the kitchen, organic tea and Fairtrade organic coffee, as well as shopping bags & fruit nets await you. In the bathroom, natural cosmetic soap is available for you. Our water is heated by the solar system on the roof. We use green electricity and green gas. The PV system generates electricity. Rainwater is collected by our cistern so that we can continue to use it. Many of the plants in our garden are bee-friendly and we value waste separation. Small steps on a path to a better world. Will you join us? Other things to note The municipality of Bad Bayersoien charges a tourist tax for every guest who stays longer than one night. This goes 100% to the municipality. We ask you to pay the tourist tax during your stay with us. As hosts, we submit the registration forms to the municipality, which then deducts the tourist tax amount from our account. For adults, this is 2.40 euros per day per person.
