Early C19th two bedroom farm cottage in a quiet setting up a private farm track with 45 acres of woodland and pasture, a pond, a stream and abundant wildlife. PORCH/SUNROOM with sofa LIVING/DINING with Inglenook fireplace, woodburner, smart TV KITCHEN galley style, fridge, induction hob,washing machine, microwave STAIRS to BEDROOM with King size bed, Juliet balcony, oak frame ceiling Ensuite BATHROOM SECOND BEDROOM with bunk beds and BATHROOM OUTSIDE DECK with seating and LAWN and SWING SEAT The space Nurserymans Cottage is a comfortable holiday home with stripped elm floorboards, home-grown oak beams and trusses and original oak windows, overlooking the lawn and large pasture field. It is situated at the end of a private lane with no traffic to disturb the peace and minimal light pollution to detract from night skies. Entrance is through a large glazed porch area with seating to read a book and room to store boots, coats, logs and bikes if you bring them. The porch gives access to a spacious living area with woodburner in the inglenook fireplace, sofa, smart TV with Freesat channels and dining area for 4/5 people. Off the living room is a compact kitchen with fitted units, induction hob, microwave/convection oven, fridge, washing machine and all necessary utensils. Upstairs there is a large vaulted main bedroom with oak framed roof, a balcony over the garden, a King size bed and a sofa that will convert to a single bed. The bathroom is ensuite with large steel bath, shower mixer taps and glass screen. A passageway leads to a second bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom opposite. There are plenty of books, toys, Lego, Playmobil, DVDs and games suitable for young children. Seasoned logs can be provided for the woodburner. A voluntary donation is requested towards their cost. Kindling and firelighters are not provided. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the large lawn area in front of the cottage as well as the private decking area to the side. Behind the cottage in a stand of oak trees there is a chill zone with a swing seat. In addition, there are 45 acres of pasture and woodland to explore. Please note that some fields may contain livestock, including cattle during the summer months. Other things to note No smoking or vaping inside the premises please, and no use of candles for reasons of fire safety. Please be advised that the private farm lane giving access to the property does not have a sealed tarmac surface. Guests with vehicles that are very low lacking ground clearance may find the lane challenging.
