Swallow cottage is located at the junction between the Lakes and Dales, close to the village of Over Kellet. Ideal base for visiting picturesque Kendal and historical Lancaster. The bungalow is set within its own private garden and has off road parking . The accommodation consists of a spacious lounge / dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with rain head shower, toilet and basin. One spacious bedroom and a beautiful patio area overlooking a fishing pond. Well behaved dogs allowed. The space Swallow cottage benefits from under floor heating, and has large patio doors leading out on to the stunning patio. Many large windows and veluxes allow natural light to pour in. Guest access Swallow cottage is all on one level with double patio doors to the rear and a wide stable door to the front. Slate floors throughout the living area and tight woven carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom is a wet room with tiled floor and easily accessible walk in shower. Outside downlights light up the way to the front door. Check in is contactless. Other things to note Kitchen benefits from oven/grill and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer. Freezer, washing machine and dryer are located in the utility room. No smoking. As we are rural, the mobile reception is patchy. We find that connecting to our super fast broadband via wi-fi calling means you are always contactable (should you wish to be). We are a working farm and stables with free roaming dogs (who can not access the cottage or garden). As we have horses they can be seen and heard in the fields around the cottage.
