The Treehouse Cabin is a rustic one of a kind cabin sitting just fifty steps from a spring fed crystal clear lake. The space is very unique and comfortable with an abundance of windows so that from any room you feel connected to the outdoors and the nature around you. The Treehouse Cabin is in the perfect location if you want to visit one of the many state parks, waterfalls, golf venues, hunting areas, including Fall Creek Falls State Park, Cumberland Mountain State Park, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Virgin Falls, Ozone Falls, and many others. If you love nature, lakes, and cabins we feel you have found the perfect place to relax and spend time with your family. The dock, also access to water toys with advance notice. You must ask for details about the canoe and kayaks prior to your visit. Fishing and swimming in the lake. Hiking on the property and around the lake. Because of the uniqueness of our Treehouse and lake location all guest are ask to sign waivers before arrival through Airbnb. There are only nine houses on the lake. The Treehouse sits on over seven acres. You will have a neighbor to the left that also has a rustic cabin and several across the lake. We love that most days you pretty much have the entire lake to yourself. We also love the feeling that we are somewhere nestled deep in the woods, but only a short drive to anything to eat that our taste buds could long for. You are also close to several state parks, waterfalls, Aaron Tipons tasting winery, world class golfing, and Fairfield Glade. The Treehouse is also less than an hour to Knoxville TN, one hour and fifteen minutes to Nashville's Music Row or the Grand Ole Opry. The cabin is located an hour and fifteen minutes to Chattanooga TN where you can spend a day taking in Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Discovery Museum, or the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The fastest to get around would be by automobile. However, most guests find themselves just getting around the lake slowly by paddle boards, float's, swimming, canoeing, or kayaking. No gas motors are allowed on the little lake, but all other form's of water fun are encouraged daily. It's been said because the lake is fed by seven natural springs that the water is therapeutic to those who take time soaking it in. This is a rustic cabin, and has all of the characteristics and charm one would expect when staying in a secluded mountain cabin in the woods. The cabin is positioned on the property just sixty feet from the dock and the lot is very level with just the slightest slope from the cabin to the 36 foot long x 14 foot dock. The Treehouse Cabin got it's name because everyone who has ever spent the night there and sleeps in the upstairs bedroom says it's like living in a Treehouse over the lake. Thus the name affectionately stuck. Accommodations also include a microwave, coffee pot, toaster, gas grill, electric griddle, electric skillet, crock pot, and a good supply of seasonings for your kitchen creations. Please note we are not required to supply you cooking supplies or spices. We try to have some basics on hand. There is a small schoolhouse country store less than half mile from the Treehouse if you need additional items or personal toiletries. In addition to the King and Queen bed, there is a single fold away bed and a sleep foam that can make it very easy to accommodate six people. We have had as many as ten guests stay overnight at the Treehouse Cabin. Several guests brought a tent and placed it right on the dock or between the cabin and lake. We have since added a futon on the screened in porch. If you have over six people in your party, we will try to accommodate your additional sleep needs. However, you are required to let us know in advance and there will be additional charges. Guest who do not let us know will be charged through Airbnb the additional guest fee and an additional host fee for not being honest in booking. There is also a huge fire pit please bring firewood. Many a smores have been enjoyed while spending time singing around an evening campfire at the Treehouse Cabin. If you are looking for a vacation to remember and have always wanted to know what being at a private state park lodge would feel like this is truly the experience you have been waiting for. This is a very unique location and experience, Prior to your arrival, you will be required to sign a waiver for the use of the Treehouse, Fire pit, Dock, Swimming and Fishing Lake and lake gear.
