To unleash the full potential of your Amsterdam’s journey and experience , the possibility to rent an open boat is indeed offered. Renting the penthouse is a rare experience as it is only available when our captain is en voyage. The space The Residence: The former VOC warehouse built in 1655 has recently been renovated into a gorgeous residence that offers spacious, stylish rooms with a funky hype interior blended in natural floral style. From all floors of the 5-story canal house, you have a spectacular view on the Prinsengracht, one of the main canals registered as UNESCO heritage in the historic city centre of Amsterdam. Guest access The Penthouse: The Captain's Suite is situated on the third floor and gives you a bright view on the canal. The room has a king size bed and from the hammock chair you can admire the view, take a look at the grand piano through the glass floor or just take a break in this ambience. Surrounded by flowers, the designer St James bath and a separate rain shower will give you the opportunity to empty your mind and relax. A steam sauna is also available for you on the top floor. You are most welcome to use the living room and kitchen on the first floor, which are shared with the residents of the top floor. This room is only suited for couples. Other things to note You are most welcome to rent my open boat Royal Fortune (max. 25 people, 200 EUR/hour). It's hands down the most exclusive way to explore and admire the canal city from the waters. Feel the Amsterdam spirit awaken within you. Yo, ho, ho! As the area is popular for cycling, electric bike hire is available at our Canal House.
