Treetop view towards the Wye Valley

Whether you'd love to chill in your own peaceful garden, enjoy exhilarating sports in the Forest, explore the castle-rich borderlands of Wales or just need some peace to work with good wifi connections, this apartment, easily accessed by a ramp, would be ideal. We live across the garden should you need any help. Overlooking the treetops of the adjacent orchard, towards the beautiful Wye Valley and onward to the Forest of Dean, Treetops is a newly refurbished retreat for two people The space The first floor accommodation is accessed by a ramp and once over the threshold all rooms are on one level. Whilst there is a well equipped kitchen should you wish to self cater, the village pub is less than five minutes walk away, with huge Sunday lunches and a good range of evening meals, currently available as take aways, (closed on Mondays). Lucy's village stores, cafe ( choose either cosy inside or the new themed garden at the back) and delicatessan (aka Woods of Whitchurch) are five minutes drive away and an excellent place for a cooked breakfast or delicious inexpensive lunch). The nearest supermakets are in Monmouth or Ross on Wye. Unfortunately there is a lack of public transport in rural Herefordshire and your own transport is essential. There is ample parking reserved for you alongside the apartment. Safe locked storage of your bikes etc can be arranged on request. Our main priority is your safety and with this in mind we aim at a high standard of cleanliness. As your comfort is very important to us, the bedroom has new Hypnos zip and link beds, which can be either a superking or separate twin beds depending on your preference. The views from this room are over the garden and towards the Forest of Dean. The sitting room is equipped with wifi, comfortable seating, dining furniture, tv, books games and dvds. The kitchen is equipped with new full size appliances, including a full cooker and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. The bathroom is fully fitted for a leisurely bath or a quick freshen up in the shower cubicle. As we consider the allergy problems experienced by some guests, regrettably we cannot accommodate your pets or permit smoking indoors. Whilst we live just across the garden and would love to meet you, and generally be available to meet any needs which might arise, we would offer you the peace and privacy you are seeking during your stay. Outside we provide garden furniture for you to move about as you wish within your own garden. Arrangements can be made for the safe storage of your bikes or kayaks. There is also a small home safe in the apartment for your valuables. Whilst we cannot offer a hot tub for insurance purposes, you are very welcome to make your own arrangements to hire one to be set up ready for your arrival. There is a suitable tiled patio in your garden and power can be accessed via the garage window. Please contact me for further details. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the garden area and outdoor furniture immediately surrounding the accommodation. Safe storage for bikes etc can be arranged. Please feel free to message me. Other things to note Unfortunately the property is unsuitable for infants and small children as the upper garden is unfenced. In line with other enclosed environments, the accommodation is strictly non smoking. You are welcome to smoke in the garden area but please remove all litter. At present we are unable to accommodate your pet during your stay. The maximum occupancy is two guests.
