Our insider tip: Look at the starry night sky together! The space The Engelbert house can accommodate 2 to 6 people and is a charming holiday destination in a historic environment. The ground floor apartment is perfect for 2 people and has a combined sleeping and living area with a cozy queen size bed, a wood-burning stove for romantic evenings, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a modern bathroom with a large walk-in rain shower. The open kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities for a pleasant stay, including a dishwasher, oven, freezer, kettle, toaster and of course a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. Each guest will receive a free capsule for the coffee machine every day, and there are various teas to choose from. The entire house is available for up to 6 people, including the ground floor and upper floor. The upper floor offers an additional bedroom with a double bed, a cozy chill lounge with a wood-burning stove, a balcony and another bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. Here, too, a wood-burning stove in the bathroom creates a romantic atmosphere during bathing. We rent two e-bikes from the brands Cube and Hibike, which you can book according to availability. Outside there is a covered terrace with lounge furniture, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine. A kettle grill is also available, perfect for grill lovers. We can provide a baby crib upon request. The apartment is also well suited for home office purposes. The Engelbert house was built in the 18th century and completely renovated and modernized by 2024, with great emphasis on the use of natural building materials such as clay walls, breathable mineral plaster and exposed beams. For the little guests there is a swing, Bobby Car, etc. in the courtyard where children can have fun and play. In the garden, you will find another seating area and sun loungers that are perfect for enjoying the tranquility and nature. Our orchard offers a variety of berries, including raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, currants and strawberries. Guests are welcome to help themselves and snack on fresh berries right from the bush. You can also visit our chicken coop and our chickens in the garden. Feel at home.
