Our insider tip: Look at the starry night sky together! The space Haus Engelbert can accommodate 2 to 6 persons and is a charming holiday destination in a historic setting. The ground floor apartment is perfect for 2 people and has a combined sleeping and living area with a cozy queen size bed, a wood stove for romantic evenings, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a modern bathroom with large walk-in rain shower. The open kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities for a pleasant stay, including a dishwasher, oven, freezer, kettle, toaster and of course a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. Each guest receives a complimentary capsule for the coffee maker every day, and there are different types of tea to choose from. For up to 6 people, the entire house is available, including ground floor and upper floor. The upper floor offers an additional double bedroom, a cozy chill lounge with wood-burning stove, a balcony, and another bathroom with freestanding bathtub. Here, too, a wood-burning stove in the bathroom creates a romantic atmosphere during bathing. We rent two Cube and Hibike e-bikes, which you are welcome to book based on availability. In the outdoor area there is a covered terrace with lounge furniture, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine. A ball grill is also available, perfect for barbecues. We provide a baby travel cot on request. The apartment is also well suited for home office purposes. Haus Engelbert was built in the 18th century and fully renovated and modernized by 2024, with great emphasis on the use of natural building materials such as mud walls, breathable mineral plaster and exposed beams. For the little guests there is a swing, Bobby Car, etc. in the courtyard where children can have fun and play. In the garden, you will find another seating area and sun loungers that are perfect for enjoying the tranquility and nature. Our orchard offers a variety of berries, including raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, currants and strawberries. Guests are welcome to help themselves and snack on fresh berries right from the bush. You can also visit our chicken coop and our chickens in the garden. Feel at home.
