Situated in a Tranquil setting over looking the Huon River in the Far South of Tasmania, this small Hut is cosy and ideal for a relaxing getaway for two. For a real authentic Tassie outdoors experience enjoy cooking over the fire pit under the stars, watch the sun rise over the River and embrace the experience of using a composting toilet. Close to some of the most pristine beaches, amazing walks, National Parks and wonderful eateries The space The Room is small with a double bed. A kitchenette with a bench top oven with 2 hot plates. There is an indoor shower as well as an outdoor Bath. The composting toilet is seperate to the living space. Guest access We are happy for guests to wander on our property, but please keep in mind our neighbouring property isn’t fenced. Please see detailed map (in Guest information booklet) of the property boundary. Kayaks and Stand up Paddle Board are available for use on request. Wifi isn’t available in the hut itself but we do offer access from the main house on request. New addition ~ Wood fired Sauna for guest use. Other things to note Guest use of woodfired Sauna ~ Grab your lantern and take a stroll along the path to the woodfired Sauna on the Hill over looking the River. Bath Robes and additional towels provided for guests staying 2 or more nights. Outdoor shower at Sauna site.
