Executive-class cottage on Private Island

Trevor Islet is a picturesque 2 acre private island in the Gulf Islands -- Western Canada's sailing and kayaking paradise. The island features a spacious, well-appointed 2-bedroom cottage with numerous amenities. Enjoy panoramic views of the ocean, epic sunsets and pristine natural beauty. Simply arrive at Saturna Island by ferry or sea plane from Vancouver or Victoria and we'll provide a short boat ride to our place. We can also help coordinate sea kayaks lessons, tours and possibly rentals. The space The islet features a spacious, well-appointed 2-bedroom cottage with a panoramic sundeck, outdoor dining area (with propane fire pit and BBQ), a full-size kitchen, open concept-living/dining area, bathroom, private dock for mooring boats /storing kayaks and two shell beaches where it’s possible to swim during the summer. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, smart TV, a laundry station and a fireplace (not available during summer). Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and the majestic Gulf Islands from every corner of the island during the day, followed by unforgettable sunsets in the evening. Relax, breathe in the fresh salt air, sip a glass of wine, and let the sounds of nature soothe your soul from your expansive sundeck, our cozy reading terrace, the lush front lawn, or anywhere else on this tranquil islet. Don't be surprised if you wake up to deer in the front yard, otters in the nearby bay or an eagle perched in one of trees. Location-wise, we are 5-minutes by boat (ten minutes by sea kayak) from Saturna Island which has a restaurant, winery, kayak lessons & tours, hiking and beaches. Saturna Island is easily accessed by BC Ferries (carries cars and foot passengers) and by Harbour Air (float plane service from Vancouver and Victoria). As part of the rental, we provide a boat shuttle from Saturna Island to Trevor Islet at check-in and check-out. Vehicle parking is available on Saturna Island for a small nightly fee. Other things to note Children must be at least 8 years old to stay. Guests must assume responsibility for their safety during their stay and sign a liability waiver. House Rules include no smoking, fires, parties, events or cooking fish indoors. Quiet time begins from 9:30 pm. Boat transportation to and from our islet from the government wharf at the nearby Lyall Harbour Ferry terminal on Saturna Island is included in the rental.
