A typical "Gotlandhouse"

The house is built as a typical “Gotlandhouse”. It is located in Fröjel 40 km south of Visby , 6 km south of Klintehamn . It takes about 40 minutes by car from Visby. Klintehamn has virtually everything you need. The house is located 600 meters from the sandy beach of "Gustav ", where the sea is shallow and the beach is child friendly. At the same location you can also find an old fishing village. Sandhamn is about 1 km away. Here you find a jetty and swimming opportunities, a kiosk, camping and Sandhamn's own unique pizzeria. If you want to have a nice dinner and enjoy a fantastic view towards Karlsöarna you should visit Djupvik Hotel 3 km further south. If you play golf, a visit to Kronholmens golf course 20 km to the north is a must. If you are interested in the nature there is much to experience at close quarters. In early June you can find a variety of orchids close by. You can also observe many different bird species from the plot. For example the cuckoos are looking for a nest for their eggs, the golden eagle striking its prey... The house is 100 m2 with plenty of space for 6-7 people. There are two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds (90 and 120 cm). In addition there are two guest houses. One has 4-5 beds and then there is the larger guest house that has two rooms with two beds in each room. So in total there is accommodation for 10-14 people available. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker etc. There is a living room with a dining area and a nice seating area. TVs are available. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washing machine. There is also a veranda with furniture and a barbecue. There are a few bikes available that you can borrow. You rent from Tuesday to Tuesday. That way you get a cheaper pass with the ferry and it's also easier to find available tickets. Not included: sheets, towels, toilet paper, cleaning.
