Agriturismo Ferrara 4 margherite is located in the charming Ferrara countryside within a farm of about 100 hectares cultivated with alfalfa and arable grass. The rural farmhouse has just been renovated and is an 18-minute drive from the historic center of Ferrara. Immersed in nature ideal for work or vacation. Nearby are the characteristic villages of Coronella and Vigarano Mainarda. Reachable by car or on foot from the local Coronella train station. The space The accommodation is fantastic, if you are looking for silence and tranquility just a stone's throw from the city of Ferrara you have found the ideal place. The chalet is located inside a characteristic rustic farmhouse dated the end of the 19th century where you can admire magnificent sunsets in original terracotta tables and old wooden beams, exposed stone brick, parquet flooring and some tools typical of the peasant civilization for a unique atmosphere. The building has been renovated maintaining the original style of the house using natural materials and taking ideas for colors from the surrounding countryside and we have combined the most modern technologies with underfloor heating for the winter and adjustable air conditioning in each room for the summer. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly. During the warmer period there is a beautiful garden of 8000 square meters that also lends itself to dinners or outdoor parties with friends. A very useful kitchen is available on the ground floor in the hottest period connected with a secondary door directly with the garden and always outside a veranda area provides shelter from the sun during the summer with a table, benches and armchairs for 10/12 people made in style with reclaimed material. On the first floor we have a large kitchen with peninsula available to guests to prepare for guests and then serve in the adjacent dining room where there is a nice table with 14 seats. Outside in the garden there is still the old wood-fired oven that in the past was used to bake bread and an old well to draw water for the irrigation of the fields and the garden. The lawn border has been planted with fruit trees (pears, cherry trees, apples, apricot) that you can pick up in the summer period from June onwards. Adjacent to the veranda you will find fragrant medicinal plants including rosemary, sage that can also be used for cheerful summer barbecues. In the adjacent private countryside you can use the private streets for relaxing walks outdoors or mountain biking during which you can see white herons or ash and other wild animals including hares and pheasants. Also inside the farm there is a suggestive macero that was used in the past for the cultivation of hemp and now it remains to remember the past agricultural activity. Guest access There is no additional cost a comfortable private parking lot on the front of the house and a beautiful garden on the back equipped during the summer with chairs, armchairs and umbrellas as well as a barbeque to prepare fantastic grills in the evening with company. Other things to note The center of Ferrara is only 18 minutes away by car, so if you are traveling to visit it, it is a valid alternative to the usual hotels for those who prefer to contact with nature or seek a higher level of tranquility or privacy. Obviously we recommend reaching us by car and coming from Austostrada A13 Bologna Padua the closest exit is Ferrara Sud. If you travel by train once you arrive at the station you will have to take a taxi that will take you to your destination in 15 minutes. Alternatively, for the more adventurous, in the adjacent village of Coronella there is a train station or a bus service that connects the city of Ferrara with the hamlet of Coronella. The area is well served and in a few minutes you can quickly reach supermarkets or small shops for the purchase of groceries, ATMs, old trattorias or characteristic pizzerias, pastry bars, etc. Alternatively, in 5 minutes by car you can find the village of Vigarano Mainarda which offers supermarkets and shops for everyday shopping including bakery, butcher, grocery in general, supermarket, bar, tobacco shop, pharmacy, etc. The village of Vigarano also offers a beautiful library accessible to the public at certain times where you can have information about the country and countryside life of the last 100 years.
