English Cherry Tree Manor, Pendula ( room 2)

Welcome to our home at English Cherry Tree Manor. Paul and Annie are the hosts. Feel comfortable in the spacious 1930s timber home of big rooms. The 5-acre garden has drystone walls, ponds, 15m swimming pool (seasonal), hottub (on request in advance), livestock (alpacas), wildlife and comfort cycle hire. There's a wonderful ride along the Waikato River, taking in Hamilton Gardens. The space English Cherry Tree Manor hosts the Waikato Cherry Tree Festival. Many thousands attend each year. The host Paul is from Britain and has been designing and building this English garden for over 20 years. It was a paddock previously. Now it has all different kinds of flowers. There is always something flowering. Paul is from Northern England, where drystone walls cover the countryside and, so, the drystone walls he has built remind him of home. This old style house was moved in five pieces from Auckland in the 1990s. The house has high ceilings, wood floors and leaded glass windows. A concession to modern living is that each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. During your stay Annie and I (Paul) would love to meet and find out about you, perhaps over dinner. We have lived in the area for over 20 years now and can enlighten you to what it has to offer whether that be walks, tourist attractions or cultural. Other things to note It is a short ride of 10 mins from central Hamilton or the airport, but you will probably need a car to get around. Our priority is to maintain a safe environment for our guests. In line with the current Government requirements (which have been mandated for Hospitality), we require that guests over 12 years are fully vaccinated if you wish to book and stay in the property. Guests are required to present to us the My Vaccine Pass on arrival or before. Please note that face coverings are required in all indoor settings.
