Summer 22 we have been updating interior and exterior furnishings and updating some of the furniture and amenities adding more outdoor seating etc... Many area attractions: Public hunting and fishing, biking, boating etc... Pike State Forest, Scioto Trail, Pike Lake, Lake White, Brush Creek State Forest, Dogwood Pass, Longs Retreat, Canal Trail, Buckeye Trail White Gravel Caves, Lucasville Trade Days and Flea Market, County Fairs and many others. Conveniently close to Scioto and Ross County as well. Items to Note prior to booking: Location is slightly remote but there is some cell service. Your still only 10 minutes to dollar stores 15 minutes to WalMart. House sets up in the woods on a hill, drive is older asphalt which is a little rough but manageable even with a car. If you have more than one vehicle, overflow parking is available at the bottom. Do not recommend any trailers as there is no turnaround etc... The owner has equipped the vacation rental with amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we cannot refund monies or relocate guests due to any of these (TV, VCR, DVD, gas log fireplace, jetted tub, hot tub, pool table, gaming system, small appliances, etc.) not working or malfunctioning. No refunds will be made for acts of God, loss of electrical power, water, air conditioning, or cable outages. In the event of a mechanical failure, we will make every effort to have all reported malfunctions corrected as promptly as possible. All our properties are privately owned. We supply enough consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, laundry det, trash bags etc...to get started. If you have multiple guests, long stays, or use a lot of these items be prepared to bring your own or pickup at one of the local convenience stores nearby. We do not restock these items while being rented. There are 4 beds plus futon and couch. There is a duplex with tenants sitting on the same property so drive is shared however you have your own space including 2 decks and yard to yourself. outdoor smoking is fine, just place butts in container. "It is the guest's responsibility to accurately account for all adults, children, and pets in their booking. Failure to do so will result in charges for the maximum number of guests." Message in advance if you're bringing pet(s) to ensure all fees and rules are complied with. The house is 40+ years old so there is normal wear. If your expecting a new 5 star resort or if you are hard to please I suggest booking one of my other newer places that are obviously priced accordingly. The majority of my guests are very pleased and know its a value. Its very clean and easy to make yourself at home. Other things to note The drive is a little rough but manageable even with a car. more than one vehicle you can use the overflow at the bottom of the drive. The drive is shared with a duplex that sites adjacent to the house. you have the entire house front and back yard and decks to yourself.
