The Flat is a real paradise for families, you will find everything you may need for you you kids, like toys and a crib. The apartment is on the 4th floor, faces south, and receives sunshine through large windows throughout the day. But first things first: The flat is huge, 130qm, has 2 bedrooms, big kitchen, really beautiful and bright living room, another working room with balcony. High sealing, wooden floor, etc…The building itself is a great example of Berlin's typical architecture. It was constructed in 1900 and went through comprehensive renovation in 2005-2006. The flat could accommodate up to 5 guests. The kitchen is very well equipped, there is everything you may need, also basic supplies, like cafe, tee, sugar, etc.. The next metro station is in 2 min walking distance. In the area you find lots of vegetable and fruit shops, coffee bars... A short walk will bring you to the beautiful Landwehr Canal, the spacious Goerlitzer Park, or the bustling Oranienstrasse (Oranienstreet) or to the very rich and colourful turkish market at Maybach Ufer, where you can buy fresh fish, meet, turkish nuts and dried fruit etc. One of my favourite places in Berlin, the Tempelhof airfield, which is now an abandoned airport and transformed into a lovely park, is in 20 min. walking distance.
