We welcome you to the Loire Valley at the Orangerie du Manoir de la Calvinière (early 18th century), our family home - in the heart of a private forest estate of 300 ha. Recently renovated, the Orangerie offers, on both sides of a large living room, 2 independent wings. Welcome to all lovers of nature (on foot, by bicycle or on horseback!), animals (zoo of La Flèche and Doué, fishing). - The beds will be made. - Cleaning: if you don't want to do it yourself we can take care of it The space We offer 2 rooms equipped with a queensize bed and 2 rooms with 3 beds. Note that : -Room 2 may have a queen size bed and one single bed instead of 3 single beds -Room 3 may have 3 single beds and a crib. All linen is included in the price but not cleaning. Guest access You have all the forest for you, the pond, a large trampoline, children's games. There is also an old tennis (if you are not looking too much !). Nearby, 2 swimming pools, a golf and the small medieval town of Baugé (castle, market) but also accrobranche, riding club, goat, famous zoo. 40 minutes, Saumur and his Cavalry School, troglodyte cellars, vineyards. At 1h, 1h30, the castles of the Loire, wine route, Loire by bike. Other things to note 1/ Please note, regarding cell phones, the signal is weak outside the house. This is an opportunity to put down your phone and admire nature, especially since you are in a "natural area of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest"! We also have a pond in which enthusiasts can fish... The manor is classified as a historic monument. A tip: remember to bring charcoal if you plan to have a barbecue - otherwise you will have to fetch wood from the forest! 2/ Eco-responsibility: - we offer waste sorting and you will have at your disposal a bucket intended for chickens and compost. - Be sure to turn off the indoor and outdoor lights before going to bed and keep doors and windows closed when the heater is working. 3/ Accessibility: the Orangerie is on one level and the doors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, but the bathrooms do not allow access to the wheelchair, so the person must be partially autonomous.
