An authentic, rustic, ga s fireplace heated, log cabin with modern amenities. The cabin has a furnished kitchen/dining area, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a nice covered deck with outdoor seating and plenty of sunlight. The cabin backs up to Zirkel National Forest and the Elk River flows right across the road. The Evergreen Cabin is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin and a small tv that you can stream from or watch dvds. The space Our cabin and greater ranch property are unique because of our intimate location in a mountainous valley. We are located close enough to Steamboat Springs (30 minutes) for guests to enjoy the downtown shopping, Strawberry Park Hot Springs (45 min drive), and the Steamboat Ski Area (45 min drive). However, we are also just far enough away for guests to feel remote. Electric baseboard & gas fireplace heat the cabin. Great for two couples or family of 4-6 guests. The kitchen is stocked: dishes, silverware, cookware, microwave, refrigerator, oven/stovetop, coffee pot, tea kettle and toaster. Towels, linens, toiletries, provided. We love offering a getaway for guests to relax and enjoy the nature around us and can connect you our guest to endless outdoor activities in the area. We have been licensed with Routt County with a special use permit for this cabin rental permit #PL-20-177 Guest access Guests are welcome to the beautiful National Forest, the Elk River just across the street and to enjoy the ranch grounds. There is a private section on the Elk River just across the street from your cabin. Also, there are short trails on the ranch and the Overlook trail leading to the national forest that you can access. Other things to note Well behaved dogs are allowed with a $50 pet fee. We ask that you will only have one dog (sorry no cats), they will be on a leash if outside or under your direct control, you will pick up after them and please DO NOT leave them alone in the cabin when you are gone. If you do have to leave them while you are away, we ask that you crate them. Damage fees will incur. Guests share space with nearby cabins. Our cabins are a place where guests come to relax and enjoy the peace of nature. Please respect other guests. No playing loud music, fireworks, barking dogs, etc. We appreciate you not being loud anytime but especially after dark.
