Snug Harbor is a newly constructed home right on Lake Michigan. Located in Bay View within walking distance to bars, restaurants, farmers market, and the most beautiful parks on the lake. So close to downtown with the feeling of being in a neighborhood. The home boasts the character of an older home with all of the amenities of a brand new house. Beautiful views of the lake and plenty of space to spread out in the open concept first floor. The basement rec room has a free vintage arcade. The house is equipped with keyless entry. As you walk in you are welcomed with the spacious open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. First floor powder room tucked away. Main floor has a fold out couch for extra guests. Upstairs has two bedrooms and attached bathroom. Bedrooms have Queen size beds. One room also has a pull out twin bed for additional sleeping space. Upper bathroom is a Jack and Jill connected to bathrooms. Bathroom features a tub and shower combo and separate sinks. Central air and an independent thermostat for personal comfort. Hardwood floors throughout, and granite countertops provide durable surfaces. Full basement features entertainment for a rainy day and laundry just in case. Have fun playing the vintage bowling machine or vintage video games, no coins needed! When the weather is nice enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch and wish the passersby a good morning. Plenty of street parking. Beyond the obvious vehicle modes of transportation there are sidewalks, bike trails and green space to roam. There is plenty of street parking and the neighborhood is very walkable. We live on the property in the rear house. We are available if you need, but we anticipate that our interactions will be minimal. The house is very private, and you wont hear us. The house guide features lots of information to help with your stay. This is a great neighborhood! We have great neighbors, but the house and neighborhood are not meant for parties. There are so many bars and restaurants within walking distance or a short ride away. The parks and lake are steps away and are great for walks and picnics. A small local grocery store is within walking distance for those last minute needs. Bay View is a desirable place because of it's proximity to downtown, the airport, and the harbor. Come see why Bay View is one of the hottest neighborhoods in Milwaukee. We are so close that you will be able to park your car and walk. Downtown is a 5 minute ride by Uber. Plenty of street parking, but be sure to read the house manual regarding night parking rules. Guests do not have access to the property’s back yard. Street parking only for guests. Regarding guests with pets: Animals MUST be leashed when outdoors -no exceptions. Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of immediately. Waste bags are available in the drawer to the right of the refrigerator. Dispose of waste in the bucket to the left of the garage.
