Kookaburra Cottage Balmain

A perfect location to launch your Sydney visit in a secluded, leafy corner of Balmain. Catch the ferry from Balmain East to take in the spectacular views of the Bridge, Opera House and Circular Quay. The Balmain Peninsula is a hidden gem. Pubs, cafes and a great village feel. The Cottage is self contained with an ensuite, kitchenette and comfortable queen size bed. The backyard is a shared space with us in the main house so you'll likely see our family around. The space This leafy hideaway in the middle of vibrant Balmain, is a stones throw from all the many delights that Balmain has to offer. The comfort of reverse cycle air conditioning along with the sheltered north facing aspect means you will be comfortable inside or out. A short and picturesque ferry ride to Darling Harbour and the Sydney CBD. Kookaburra Cottage is a great place to relax or get out and explore. The cottage is self contained and has an ensuite and a small kitchenette. There is a lovely veranda to sit and relax after exploring the delights of Balmain. As the cottage sits on the same property as the main house, you will see us and hear us at times when we are using the backyard. Feel free to say hi, especially if we are out watering the garden in the evenings. Guest access Guests enter through a side gate, through the communal backyard, and wander under the trees into their fully self contained accommodation. Other things to note Please note: The cottage is really only suitable for two people maximum. We often accommodate people's relatives visiting from out of town. It is a great local base.
