Welcome to The Little Brick House! Enjoy the home's original hardwood floors, beautifully decorated spaces, king and queen bedrooms, and thoughtful details for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Take a trip to nearby Amish county and wineries or visit the Hall of Fame! Take a short walk to a nearby ice cream stand for the perfect ending to your day. The house is located a few minutes off I-77 in a residential neighborhood near downtown Dover. Ideal location for exploring NE Ohio! The space We’ve given this house lots of love and finished the design with your ease and enjoyment in mind. The living room is a cozy space with a reclining rocker and a super comfortable sofa to curl up on. The Apple TV has all the apps to sign in yourself (this means no cable, but Netflix/Disney+ is included). A queen bedroom is located off the living room through pocket doors and is furnished with a memory foam bed, plenty of pillows, some original art, and a small dresser/clothes hanging area. Through to the bright dining room, you can eat at the round table or at the bar. There’s also a small workspace set up here and a full-length mirror. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need - pots/pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, paper towels, kitchen towels, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, sponges, etc. The beverage station is set up with an easy-to-operate drip-coffee machine, an electric kettle, and a selection of coffee and teas. The king bedroom boasts a Purple mattress, four king pillows and plenty of blankets and bedding, 2 small closets and a dresser, wall hooks, a tabletop fan, a noise machine, and some unique art pieces. The bedrooms are connected by a small hallway with lots of storage hooks for your jackets and bags. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and is open and airy. A quiet motion sensing fan keeps air flowing and the side-lit vanity makes getting ready easier. There’s plenty of storage in the vanity and a big pretty mirror over the sink. Below you’ll find a hairdryer for your use so you don’t have to bring your own. There is also a bidet attachment on the toilet (fair warning: cold water only). Salon quality shampoo and conditioner are provided, as well as body & hand soap, and of course fluffy white towels! The wide front porch is the icing on the cake. If the weather is nice it’s the perfect spot to relax with a drink, especially in the early morning or evening hours. The house is over 100 years old and has all the charm that comes with an older home. The bedrooms do not lock because we’ve kept the original doorknobs and the floors are a bit creaky. We love the high ceilings, oversized trim, ornate doorknobs and air registers, and functional pocket doors. We hope you love the space too!
