This newly built retreat, completed in February 2020, offers very comfortable, well appointed accommodation in a tranquil setting overlooking Roydon Island and Bass Strait. Walking distance to deserted beaches, coastal walks, mountains and a rich array of flora and fauna. Best suited to those who enjoy getting out and exploring this beautiful coastal setting - in all its moods. The space Phone coverage (Telstra only) is very patchy and there is no internet available in the accommodation. Maireener is located about 45 minutes drive north of Whitemark which is the closest supermarket, so I would recommend you purchase your groceries before driving north. (The pantry has a few essentials such as rice, flour, cereal etc) The weather can be truly wild and spectacular at any time of year.
