At the foot of the Vosges, on a very sunny and idyllic hillside, surrounded by meadows, forests and ponds, lies our house. In just a five-minute walk, you are in the elongated village of Fresse. A small village shop provides the residents with food and other everyday necessities. The space The apartment with separate entrance is newly renovated and decorated in bright, friendly colors. It consists of a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room plus a private patio. After long walks, sports activities or in cooler weather, you can warm up comfortably in a Finnish barrel sauna. On the outside benches you can cool your body in the fresh air or dive into the swimming pond for refreshment. Maybe you'll get lucky and experience a romantic sunset or just enjoy the tranquility of nature. The sauna can accommodate up to six people and is heated with wood from our own forest. The large gravel area invites you to play boules and enjoy a nap in the hammock or find time to read. The huge attic is converted and can be used for different needs: playing, celebrating, yoga or gymnastics. Other things to note Fresse is located on the edge of the "Mille Etangs." The Plateau of 1000 Ponds offers nature lovers, bikers and hikers beautiful walks or bike rides in a wild nature with varied landscapes. In summer you can go swimming in the swimming pool in Mélisey (about 5 km). The complex is located in a green recreational area with picnic and playgrounds on the river of the "Ognon." On the opposite side of the street, a large stable offers riding lessons or rides in the nearby area. Fishermen and mushroom seekers also get their money's worth in season in this natural environment, depending on luck. The chapel of Notre-Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, just a stone's throw from Fresse, is an ideal place to get to know contemporary architecture - that of Le Corbusier, Renzo Piano and Jean Prové. For excursions to the surrounding area, there is Château-Lambert with the Musée de la Montagne and Villersexel with the possibility of a castle tour and canoe and kayak rental. The Burgundy-Franche Comté area is a paradise for hiking, cycling and river tourism.
