Home on the Strand is a two bedroom garden apartment in a modern building (which contains two other apartments, one of which is also available on Airbnb - 'Loft on the Strand' The property has been lovingly designed to cater for families and groups with a modern interior and high-quality furnishings. Upstairs are two bedrooms: the Master bedroom with a double bed and built-in wardrobe, the second bedroom can be configured with 2 single beds (ideal for children) or 1 double bed. Please let us know which configuration you require when booking. The master bedroom has generous cupboard space, while the second bedroom boasts beautiful views over Rye. Step into the open-plan living space and you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer, oven and hob, washing machine and a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The dining area provides a warmly lit space to linger over a glass of local wine, while the lounge area is bright and airy and overlooks the south facing garden which is equipped with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. Relax on the sofa or curl up in the armchair to unwind with a good book, plan tomorrow's adventure or catch a movie on the UHD TV (with access to Netflix, Prime, Disney+ and digital terrestrial channels). There is a private, south facing garden with a decking area and lawn as well as outdoor dining. The bathroom offers a shower and bath with towels supplied. All guests have access to an online guidebook which provides full detail on the property and appliances as well as recommendations for things to do and places to eat and drink. Guest access The entire apartment including private, south facing garden. Other things to note The property is adjacent to a main road so there may be some traffic noise during the day. There is no room for a cot at the property, it is best for children aged 3 and up who can be accommodated in 2 singles or 1 double bed.
