Comfortable, Quiet, Great Views, Centrally Located

Located mid-Village, 5 minutes from the Coronado Center, Sunny Oaks Guest Studio is located mid-way between the East and West Gates and convenient to all Village amenities. This comfortable studio has a queen bed alcove, fully furnished efficiency kitchen, comfortable sitting area with electric fireplace and TV, well lit work area with desk and private, covered outdoor seating. Perfect for remote workers or Village visitors. The space Sunny Oaks Studio returned to the Airbnb stage in early 2025, after spending almost 5 months in restoration mode. It still has the same wonderful interior, but the exterior landscape has dramatically changed. On March 14th, 2024, we experienced an F2 tornado that severely damaged the upper level of the house and our beautiful forest. It took diligent, daily, dawn to dusk effort by a dedicated team to put the house back together. Thankfully, we are nearly there…..the interior is done, siding and decking is finished and we are now beginning the monumental task of envisioning our new landscape plan….keeping it simple, yet functional. For those of you who have stayed here before the tornado, you will find few changes inside, but the twisted pines and downed trees on our lovely street and along the walkway down to the private entrance, will be a stark reminder of the devastation that occurred here in a matter of minutes. Where we once enjoyed nearly full shade from our beautiful pine forest, we are now in full sun, with a beautiful blue sky overhead. The covered porch remains to offer a shady, comfortable spot to view the new vistas. Our new roof now supports a full contingency of solar panels to provide for all our energy needs, reminding us that changes happen, but that sometimes a problem can become a wonderful opportunity. I hope that you will come for a nice visit or an extended stay….to see this lovely reconstructed guesthouse, the wonderful sights in and near Hot Springs and enjoy the peace and tranquility that this beautiful Village has to offer. Guest access Sunny Oaks studio is locked off from the rest of the house, with its own entrance, living space and covered outdoor living. Entry is by electronic keypad. Other things to note Creekside is a guest house with 4 living spaces...... Sunny Oaks is one of two, smaller short term rentals..... the larger two are owner occupied spaces.
